You have to sign in to get help, no sizes on the floor to even help yourself. It’s hard waiting when you have kids. The lady that did help us was very nice though.Response towards owner. Maybe a place like this is out of my tax bracket, but it was a very strange situation. Never had to sign in at a shoe store. A 5 min wait is reasonable but 20 is not. I suggest putting on your site that this establishment is a sit and wait. I apologize if it is on your site.

Very small selection of actual Stride Rite shoes , and an ever smaller selection of sizes in the Stride Rite shoes the had on display . As stated in another review they don't offer the same sales that are available online , on top of the bad selection the service was rushed and poor . I will be shopping on line from now on .

Would give a 0 if I could. The store wasn't busy when I went in and then as more people came their reps started tending to everyone else except myself and my child. Waited over 40 minutes and in the end I just walked out and left.

They don't have a high selection of shoes and it's connected to another shoe store that also sells expensive bags. They don't have the same sales as the stride rite website. The store was really nice besides that. Just wasn't what I expected.

I went into Stride Rite/Lucky's at around noon on Monday, March 1st with a very anxious two-year-old child. Normally our attempts to measure her foot end in hysterics. I never quite feel like we get a true measurement because we just settle for whatever she lets us get before she hits the emergency-level of her meltdown. I should also add that this toddler hates men that she doesn't know. So, when I entered the store and was promptly greeted by a very nice male associate (Unfortunately, I didn't get his name!), my heart sunk. I was expecting the outing to be an epic fail, especially since my daughter had skipped her nap that day. I warned the associate that he was dealing with a very reluctant customer ahead of time. He seemed completely unfazed and simply looked at my daughter and said he would measure her foot quickly. As soon as I started to take her shoes off, my daughter began to throw a fit in anticipation of what was coming. The sales associate quickly grabbed her left foot, measured it and then measured the right foot, all before my kid knew what happened. She instantly stopped fussing. I'm not sure if she was shocked at how painless the whole process was or whether she was as impressed as I was with how the sales associate handled the situation, but from that moment on, this gentleman had her trust and respect. She let him check her toes and even engaged with him a little bit (which NEVER happens with strangers). We walked away with an awesome pair of shoes I feel confident about AND my daughter can't stop talking about her experience with pride and smiles. I really wish I had gotten this gentleman's name so that I could personally thank him in this review, but he was amazing and Lucky's is so fortunate to have someone like him in their Stride Rite department. I will be going back to Lucky's for all of my daughter's shoes from now on. Any store that can make my kid feel better about something that she is super afraid of deserves my business.

Lots of shoes. Took a long time for anyone to come over and measure our child's foot. They have good quality shoes. They have a whole table full of shoes that are on sale. Overall good place to get good shoes if you don't mind the wait.

Wide selection. High quality and pricing. Staff mostly attentive and helpful. Store red tape sometimes complicates offers

Definitely wouldn't even give them 1 star. The manager is so rude and so was the blonde girl he was training. They are very unsocial and just stare at you like they don't want to be there. They measured my daughters feet wrong. They were trying to tell me she was 1-2 sizes bigger than she was and when I showed the girl she was whispering to the manager how I was yelling at her. My older kids heard them. That's so rude. They didn't want to help us and lost a customer. We had to drive out of our way for nothing. Horrible customer service. Do not go there. Now we have to drive to Canton to get my 2 year old sandals because their gift cards are in store only.

I just left the store with a four-year-old little girl. She was all excited about getting her new shoes until the grouchy old man came over to measure her foot. He never spoke to her, he never said anything to make her visit comfortable. He terrified her and she started crying and did not want to continue with trying on shoes. I had to actually ask him to leave the room so I could finish up with her because he was so unfriendly. She's a very friendly little person and no one ever scares her like he did. I would think that someone that is dealing with little children would have more of a personality, try to make the child comfortable and if you don't like children at least try to make a sale by pretending you do. I had to physically take my granddaughter out of the store to get away from him and her mother had to go back in when she arrived to purchase the shoes. Never ever would I recommend taking a child to this store to get measured and fitted for shoes. The man was a total j*** and I will not return. If I could give zero Stars I would. They didn't deserve one.

They may advertise as a stride rite store, but they refuse to accept stride rite gift cards. Traveled 45 minutes to get shoes for my child because we had gift cards to use and they really had no interest in honoring them. Don't advertise as a stride rite if you aren't really one.
