This was the perfect beach. The water was super clean, and the sandbar is ideal for kids. The water was warm as well. The swimming lanes are a cool touch for a public beach. It has a lot to offer, with watercraft available for rent, full changing facilities, and a decent concession stand—especially for popsicles and ice cream. It's also conveniently located next to a charming downtown area with candy shops and restaurants. A very fun spot.

Nice small little beachfront Park. The dog beach is more rocks than sand. There is a convenience store and plenty of parking. $3 for non-county resident to get in

Beautiful state park, right at the foot of a cute harbor town. A little beach and marina to cap off the shoreline feel.

Very nice little beach on Lake Erie. Paid parking (a couple bucks) which means not just any yahoo will be there. Changing area and restrooms existed, but not that great. Only real complaint would be the sharp rocks right as you get into the water (but turns back to soft sand in a few short feet). Relatively inexpensive kayak rentals too ($10-15 hr).

We have loved going to this beach for years! The kids have always enjoyed the sand and water and playground! Very family friendly with great picnic areas!

Probably one of my favorite beaches, especially for little ones as it's shallow and well appointed with life guards. Nice food station and bathrooms/ changing areas
