The ATM at this location is questionable at best. Most of the time, I have to go into the branch to take out cash. Today, it sounded like the machine was broken and took a very long time to dispense. Something no one tells you, what do you do when your card is in the machine and you are waiting for cash to dispense... You can't just leave. I do like that when it does work, you can take out intervals of $5 and choose the bills you wish. All and all, it is just not dependable and thus my low rating.

I would like to take a minute to call Excellent banker Paige Engel!! Upon stopping in today, she made time to talk to me about my accounts and frankly, we re-organized all of my stuff, and it has been something. I have been putting off for a long time because I was dreading doing it, but she made me totally comfortable and assisted me with a financial reorganization and really making sure that I am Fully benefiting from my Banking set up. Paige has a wonderful personality. She's highly professional and I am so happy to have a new official banker in her at the Fairview fifth third branch. Thank you!

Normally the tellers at this bank are very friendly and helpful. The teller today was anything but!! I hope she was just having a bad day. She made me want to take my banking elsewhere. What happened to friendly service??!

Back in the fall of 2023 I Went to their ATM to withdraw cash. The machine took the request and spit out zero cash, then deducted it from my account. 300 dollars. second time in 6 months that a 5/3 atm spit out zero money after it accepted a request to withdraw cash. The atm at their north Ridgeville branch just did it to me again last night. This bank is a joke. Their “network” of free non fifth third ATM machines is also a sham. Half of the ones they claim are free for 5/3 customers do charge you exorbitant fees to use them. You have to find a fifth third atm and since they closed half of their branches, you have to drive forever to find one. I’ve been a fifth third bank customer for 26 years, never had an atm rip me off like this until they started replacing them with new machines and now twice in 6 months this has happened. Avoid this bank like the plague. Sad because their staff inside the bank are always very courteous and helpful. However, Their ATM machines are either out of order or they malfunction and rob you.

I am not going to go into much detail other than their processes, and proceders are very inconvenient. Especially to those with 9-5 jobs. Their security measures don't seem to be that great considering all the hacking that can be done with debit card transactions these days & yeah you can file them fraudulent and go through the process of waiting to get the money back- but that could be avoided with a simple enable and disable card transactions left up to the customer to turn on and off at their convenience. As many other banks offer and is a great feature and can automatically block out a transaction trying to be made when your card is disabled & With the click of a button with these many other banks, you can turn it right on when you want to make a transaction or purchases. Then immediately turn it back off. An auto banking setting that calculates how your money is spent is a great feature many other accounts offer that they don't. There are many ways this bank could upgrade to make themselves more up to date with other banks that offer more features. The number of times I have had issues with this bank compared to my other accounts greatly has me on the verge of the aggravation from them to just close the account. As well as others I know who have banked with them for a long time and are going to be closing their accounts because "there's nothing special about them, it's an average bank with no benefits and more headaches" in which when I tell them about my great experiences with my other bank accounts they are shockingly impressed with how advanced it is compared to their longterm banking they have had with fifth third. I shouldn't feel scared to have a bank account with someone as i do with them compared to the confidence with my others. This is directed to fifth third in general and not just this location.

After years of car loans and multiple family accounts, 5th/3rd would not do me the courtesy of a 2 minute notarization (and I called first too). I even offered to pay, but as I am no longer a client they refused. Citizens Bank, 2 minutes away, obliged without a question. The other party involved was stunned at the refusal and termed it "dickey".

Saw some poor rated reviews & thought it unfair considering how good I think 5th3rd is. I am greeted nicely every time I come & so is everyone that walks in the door. They hear "Welcome to 5th3rd" & they're smiling...usually busy too. I'm there weekly & been with them 30+ years. I have their Pacific Life Insurance & accounts there. Their rates are competitive. As far as stuff "pending," I don't really care....transfer & pay online or pay ahead & they'll credit the acct until it goes through. I miss the Kamm's location too but Fairview Park is close & good to shop across the street or at "Threads" in w.220th shopping center. Very good bakery across the street from Threads too. Good Community....very good bank as part of the community. Hope Nicole & Mary stay on...but people move on eventually. Hope this truthful, open-minded review helps :-)

I loved Fifth Third Bank before they moved to the Fairview location and before Angie relocated.They're very rude and have made huge mistakes in regards to notifying me of what’s happening to my account.What’s disgusting isfifth third justifying their wrongdoing and the mistakes they've made.You try to contact someone in the office and they're never there or are on break. I'm done and have decided to bank with someone else after many years.
