The young girl that works there shouldn't be a left alone in the store, ever. She was the most unknowledgable unhelpful person that we've ever had The Misfortune of having to deal with. There wasn't one question we asked that she had an answer to. Including do you have a car available for rent, which is kind of fundamentally her whole job. After being told there were none available, we literally went out into the parking lot, went on the website and ordered a car from Avis, and went right back in and picked it up. Why even have her there, her presence is literally costing the business, business. There was another guy there when we were and he couldn't get his car because they didn't accept his payment method, despite there being a long list of payment methods They didn't accept that did not have his payment method on it. I imagine most of their business comes from the marathon building that they are next to so they don't really care about regular customers, but is it really necessary to be so blatant about it.

Rented a car to drive to Florida for a beach vacation. Firstly, there are no floor mats in the car. Yes, we washed off our feet in the parking lot water fountains and put our slides back on to walk to the car. 3 times a day. Car was returned and there was scant amount of sand on the floorboard in the front. Avis claims they were unable to vacuum it out and charged me $300 plus tax. Today, I received another letter stating I would be charged an ADDITIONAL $450 for cleaning. Absolutely ridiculous! Charges are disproportionate for a car vacuum! Lesson learned, AVOID AVIS overcharging your credit card with reckless regard and go somewhere else!

Excellent place rent from , my first time to rent a vehicle, I walked in and people was really nice and helpful , I was walking out within 10 minutes, I did have it reserved. When I returned it it was no problem was in out 5 minutes.

Expect to take a taxi or have someone drop you off because this company has ZERO parking, so I have e to park my car on the street for a week, why ??? I take a car I should be able to leave a car....this is the DUMBEST car rental I have ever seen and I travel a lot for work, next time I'm going someplace else....leave my dam car on a random street all week and hope it doesnt get vandalized or towed....avis sucks!

Rental was seamless- both for getting the car and picking it up. It met our needs. However we were not aware that if you prepay you are charged for the days you planned on using it but if you come home early you are not reimbursed for those days. We went with them because they were having a 35% off special. They are not normally cheaper than enterprise which we usually use.
I am sure it is in the fine print somewhere but no one verbally told us this.
We had to come back a day early so we ended up paying more than what we would have paid for Enterprise. Just a heads up for anyone using this company

Called four hours before pick up to say they over sold rentals and have no more. Offered to rent one to us tomorrow. Not sure what good that is when we're suppose to be leaving at 5am. Pathetic

Avis car rental is a scam to steal money. We ordered the cheapest car from Avis and requested to not have insurance charged as we have our own. We were still charged a pre pay of over $300 and a additional charge of $300 for insurance and gas which is insane. Over 600 dollars for a "$90" rental. Companies like Avis are the reason the general public can't trust a single company in this country.

The vehicle we rented to go from Ohio to South Carolina was unsafe. The tires were so bad that we were hydroplaning much of the trip as it rained the entire time. An 11 hour trip turned into 15 hours due to the bad tires. When I called Avis it took everything for me to get a whopping $50 back. So that's what your families life is worth as this could have ended catastrophically if it hadn't been for my son and husbands driving experience (fuel trucks). The vehicle also smelled bad and was dirty~Do better
