The Pastor who spoke at the funeral is on staff there and made everyone a part of the service and made it a joyous occassion knowing we would all meet again one day. The funeral went smoothly and according to plan and we, the family were very appreciative of that.”

“these are some amazing people. terrance… thank you for all of your help. you, barbara and all the rest of the crew treated us so well. i know my dad was taken care of and respected just by the way they treated my family. i wasn’t expecting much when it came to the “urn” they would put my dads ashes in, but the wooden box was so beautiful and has his name engraved in it. when my dad passed, the hospice nurse asked if i wanted to stay in town or go to toledo (where he had been hospitalized previously), i chose to stay in town for convenience and boy am i glad i did. terrance made this process so easy. he was so kind and patient, got the death certificates mailed to our house all the way in missouri, dealt with me when it came to the verse on his pamphlet and requested the flag be folded for the military honors, created a beautiful obit and pamphlet for my dad, they even gave us a candle with his little face on it too. i didn’t even have to stress about the payment being “due immediately” like some funeral homes. and then… my family was a riot during the funeral, they kind of took charge on their own without direction and barbara didn’t even judge!! lol! and then she said my whole family has beautiful smiles!!! they gave us extra tables to set up our little “dedicated table” for photos and trinkets and a memory table as well. i am so GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for you guys for making this the easiest part of my grieving process. 5 STARS!! thank you barbara and terrance and everyone there!!!”

“Terrence of Hoening & Son was an absolute pleasure to work with. My Dad actually passed and was cremated by a different agency in Columbus, but it was important for our family to have services in Fostoria because that’s where our family is from (and laid to rest).Terrence helped me coordinate everything remotely, gave me his personal number to text, we met for the first time when we showed up for the service at the Fountain Cemetery.It was a beautiful and simple service and exactly what we had in mind. The military honors for my father were beautiful. And Terrence helped me to get his obituary edited and published to two different papers. Thank you for helping us make such a sad / painful experience as death so positive.”
