I have given this place a good review but the people were extremely rude to me the last visit. They are suppose to let you pick five things off the shelf when you get inside. Because they had an attitude with me they didn’t have anyone assist me inside the food pantry! The people acted as if they were better than me! It was sad and pathetic! I will not becoming back here! Leave the attitude at the door when you’re trying to help those who need things!Do better Franklin Area Community Services!

The first time my wife came they said she could come over the phone no problem very helpful second time she called they said she could in but then had her waste her gas to go all the way there to be turned away I think if your a food pantry you should turn no one away from help it's very unchristian of them they lost my respect today from there actions I strongly suggest if you need help go salvation army on first Ave you will have a kinder experience and they help anyone needing help Stay away from places like this

They are nice, polite volunteers that work there and have a generous heart at the food pantry. They are really good people.

They have been very very helpful to our family because some months the foodstamps are not enough to get us by for the whole month and they have came through for our family time and time again and are so very kind and generous and helpful! I remember this place helping me like 7-8 years ago with help paying for my prescriptions because I had no insurance at that time and I couldn’t afford the medications that I desperately needed,and I remember I was eating at the church right next to the pantry that offered free dinner to anyone in need of a free dinner and one of the lady’s that worked there even took my name down and got me into a family doctor for a completely free appointment for a re-check from being in the hospital,and I was just so grateful! Lots and lots of appreciation to the Franklin community as a whole and especially to the people that work and volunteer their services to help those less fortunate to be able to get necessities like food,help with electric bills,help with prescriptions and guidance to other helpful information and resources available to the community in the warren county area! If I could give more stars I most definitely would! You guys are such a wonderful asset and you can clearly tell by all of the amazing reviews I’ve read on here about the pantry! Keep up the good work and we will continue to be ever so grateful for all of your support and help to get through the sometimes difficult times that life has given us! Always give back whenever your in a position to help because that’s why places like this are great! Thank you so very much from my family to yours! Kasey,Stephen,Casey,&Maddie!

They turn people away in need of food for expired I.D as long as the person matches and has proof of residence you shouldn't turn them away.

I went there to get help with food and I was turned down I gave them proof of where I lived and I still was waiting for a half hour before the lady came out and told me they couldn’t help me which I think is wrong nobody should be turned down for food. They didn’t bother to let me know before I put all of my information on the application that I wasn’t in the local area. I feel like they still should have helped me I will always put a bad review for places like this that doesn’t let you know they don’t do the miamisburg area even when I called they told to me to go ahead and come I am aggervated about this situation it’s not right there are reviews on here of people that is homeless and they still get the help that they needed I have 3 small children living in my home and I got refused
