“Sunday February 28th Tony and I had a driving tour of Fremont Ohio checking out the Historical Beautiful Churches and Old Buildings. I get very excited seeing the many steeples in a towns skyline, just a reminder of the history of the town and areas. We found First Presbyterian Church on Park Ave.,which was founded in 1833. The building was built in 1847 with renovations in 1893. The gorgeous Romanesque-style architecture is stunning and I definitely want to go inside this beautiful church.I normally make as much effort as possible to go inside but with it being a rainy Sunday, we had to pass on this beautiful church.”

“Sunday February 28th, Tony and I drove Route 53 from Port Clinton OH to Fremont, Oh about a 30 minute hop. As we arrived into Fremont, I saw this gorgeous historic church, Saint Anne Catholic Church.I normally like to get out and go inside, but it was 8am, cold, windy and raining. So today I decided to do a driving tour of Fremont, Ohio. I love old historic church and buildings...a true architecture passion and treat for my eyes!!!The Catholic Church was first in area in 1844, originally built a little more west of current site. This gorgeous cathedral was constructed from 1888 to 1891. Original parishioners were German and Irish, official language was Irish Gaelic.Inside ceiling portrays 8 murals of the Beatitudes. When in the area I will definitely try to gain entrance!!!”
