Made an appointment to get my rear brakes done… was told they had 25% left so they decided to not change them, even though I said to go ahead as long as they were close. Somehow all that led to someone finding a rust spot in my frame rail and them digging a nice hole in it! Thanks for nothing

I recently been taking my car to Jake's Auto repair they are my now go to shop. Not only was the services efficient but they were also incredibly honest and transparent. They took the time to explain the problems clearly and showed me exactly what needed fixing. They never tried to upsell me on anything. I had several problems my ac/heat, starter , bushings on both front ends and the drums in the back will be next. They told me right out the gate in order of priorities so I could still drive while we get one thing at a time done. I feel comfortable there and trust them.

We were halfway through a trip from Maryland to Traverse City, Michigan for a funeral service when our brakes started making loud noises. We showed up at Jake’s early in the morning. They were kind and understanding and fit us in right away. What a gift they are to the community and to travelers in need! Thank you, Jake’s!

Jake’s auto repair was so kind to us and worked so well with us to get our car back on the road after we broke down. So blessed we found this place!! My only experience with the town is Jake’s and based on that one experience I’d have to say the town has some very nice people! Jake’s represents well!!
