Terrible experience!
I booked a standard SUV for a 7-hour move from Columbus to DC and called multiple times to confirm if it was ready. Each time, I was told it was. But when I arrived, the same staff member said only a hatchback was available, and I’d have to wait 2–3+ hours for the SUV — with no clear timeline or update.
I had a lot of items to move, and a hatchback simply wouldn’t work. The lack of preparation and communication was extremely frustrating, especially for something as important as a long-distance move.
Won’t be using them again.

Watch out; this place is deceiving and unorganized. Even after I called to make sure my rental was ready, it took over an hour to get the keys. I then asked if I could drop it off on Sunday before they opened and not get charged for another day. I was told that was okay, but on my final receipt, I was charged for another day's rental. I called to get a credit, and they would not budge. Steer clear.

If I could give them a zero stars I would! They charged me a bogus charge for a tire that only needed air and it cost me $100!!! They never told me that they were charging me and just put the charge on my card. DO NOT RENT THERE!! If you do not watch your card, you could wake up to new charges and they will be listed as miscellaneous charges!

I made a reservation online. I showed up and they just told me even though I made a reservation online, they actually don’t have a car for me. They said they will transfer my reservation to the airport, but no guarantees that there are any cars available there either. So I wasted money getting an uber here, then I have to take an even more expensive uber to the airport and just hope there’s a vehicle available there? I tried calling the airport location, but the phone menu just kept going in circles and wouldn’t let me talk to an actual person. NEVER using Avis again.

This is the first time I’ve had and issue here. However, because of the “open hours” closing at 2pm on Saturday and not opening until 1 Sunday, I had to extend my rental on the receipt it says for 2 additional days. It was due back originally on Saturday at 10am. Costing me over 80 dollars. Since they would not close out the return until 1pm on Sunday. Prior to dropping the car off at 5pm Saturday evening (they closed at 2pm) I filled gas tank and the needle noted to be past the full marker. The gas station less than 2 miles from the return location. Sunday at 2pm I was received a call that I will be charged for gas. Speaking to Miss Shirley, she said the needle was not at the full marker. yes it cold out, it is clear I was charged before the car was turned on and acclimated to the weather.
Apparently keeping a recurrent loyal customer is not as important a made up fuel charge of 17.85 when the gas tank needle was past the full fuel marker.
I will no longer give this location my business after utilizing them over 5 years and thousands of dollars in business being given to them.
Anyone utilizing this business should take a video of the car at the drop off and make sure to take a video at the same time to not the gas needle. Clearly, I did not do this yet also thought they would value my business and be honest about theirs.

The people here are always friendly. They have the vehicle that you reserved and the customer service is amazing!

The staff here is generally friendly, but I’ve had 2/3 reservations here that were not able to be fulfilled and I had to go to the airport after already being at this location. I understand things happen and this is a smaller location, but since I didn’t get a call ahead of time my pickup experience took over 1 hour.

Everybody inside was incredibly friendly. In & out under 10 minutes each time. Car was a just little dirty on the outside but nothing crazy, especially for a black SUV. Pretty clean on the inside. Overall great experience. Would rent from here again.

We waited an hour to get our car. 30 minutes down the road, the car dies. The paperwork is unreadable because it's printed on dot matrix from 1992.

DO NOT GO TO THIS AVIS/BUDGET!!! They are so shady. When you return your vehicle they said is return but they wait to process it so it looks like you return it late. They put that I return it at a different location so they can charge me a ONE WAY fee and they charge me for fuel service even though I returned it with a full tank.

I can only speak to my experience it was amazing not only were they ALL PLEASANT.. the husband wife team is just adorable. They got me checked in easily and quickly explained everything. When I dropped off the system clocked me near the airport and they quickly fixed it.. this will definitely be my new main location so easy and personable.

Worst place to rent! We had a reservation to pickup our car. When we reached the location there were 4 more people waiting outside the office to pick their car up. The person had shut the office way before the closing time and everyone was surprised. We all had reservations 30+ minutes before closing time but still the person did not care and just shut the register and left. Disappointed with the service.

I made my reservation online for a Chevy Tahoe (or similar) and prepaid so that I could get the discount. On the day of pickup, I go to the counter and gave the rep my name and the usual stuff. She then said, and this is a nearly direct quote, "I have a Cadillac Escalade for you." I said ok because I know that the Cadillac is the same platform as the Chevy so that should fall into the "or similar" category. Note, the rep did NOT say would you like an upgrade to an Escalade or anything like that.I go about my merry way. was actually quite pleased with how quick the pickup went, and returned the vehicle as planned and they sent me a receipt by email. Since I prepaid I didn't pay attention to it. A week later I check my credit card and there's an extra charge for $544. I look at the receipt and there's an extra $450 in optional charges. I prepaid to get a discount, why would I add options?I called customer service and after a bit of back and forth on hold, the agent comes back and only offers me half of my money back because I had after all signed the rental agreement. I argued, about it being the stupid little electronic keypad and there's no way anyone can or would read that.So, don't rent form Avis. The counter reps are crooked and customer service can't or won't help. Ya never know what mysterious charges will show up with them.

I returned my vehicle after one day. I was charged $450 for dog hair in the vehicle. I don't even have a dog! No one communicated to me about the charge when i dropped it off. Don't trust Avis with your credit card. They'll charge anything to it!!
