I can’t really blame it on the staff there, it seems like they’re understaffed, and ill managed! I don’t know if it was because they were understaffed, or if it’s a part of their protocol, but I had to pour my own milk into my coffee, which I’ve never had to do at a coffee shop and found that odd! This may be nitpicking, but not only was it pat, but it was so loud that it was hard to hear the people 2 feet away from me. I suggest some thing be done about the acoustics. It’s an experience thing.

Love this place. Simple coffee shop with great coffee and a couple decent food options. Prices are fair too.

Absolutely love this place. Always good vibes when I stop by and we love picking up a pack of their whole beans to go!

This used to be my favorite place but the service and the coffee have gradually been getting worse. Super rude staff sometimes and the quality of the drinks has not been great. I make my coffee at home now.*edit* forgot to mention that no matter what drink you order it will take an eternity to get your drink and there’s nowhere out of the way to wait for your drink so it’s awkward to just stand around in close quarters with strangers.

It's a nice place to grab some good coffee and catch up with friends or get some work done. I'd love to see some dietary restriction food options.

I met a friend here to get coffee and talk. There's a free public parking garage under it. It wasn't overly busy when I went, with plenty of seating. The aesthetic is a minimalistic kind of industrial chic look that's cheap and popular today. We only bought coffee, and the service was sufficient enough. As far as the coffee goes, most, if not all, restaurants and coffee shops don't really know how to make coffee, and this place is no different. I don't pretend to be a coffee connoisseur, I'm not really versed with different kinds of coffee, notes, flavors, etc., but I do hand grind my beans every morning and I've learned that's the most important part of any coffee. I'm sure some of it is preference, but I don't know how places that specialize in coffee get it wrong. It's even more confusing when places offer all these different types of beans from local roasters. When I saw that Upper Cup offers pour over and French press at an extra cost, I was hopeful they'd get it right. I was disappointed when my first sip was met with that familiar acidic taste from a coarse grind. If you only get coffee out or frequent Starbucks, you'll be fine. Maybe you load up your coffee with sugar or creme anyway. But if you enjoy a smooth black coffee in the morning, you already know you'll be making your cup at home.

Super friendly employees and owner! Amazing & affordable coffee!! They can also grind the beans for you. The sandwiches here are delicious. They recently repainted and there are big windows that make the place bright. They hang up local artwork on the walls that you can enjoy or purchase if you're interested. I come here often with my Uncle Henri. Definitely recommend!

Meh, wifi was bad and that’s an issue at a coffee shop. Wasn’t working at all when I got there, worked for a while after they reset it but eventually went out again. Breakfast sandwich was ok.

Arguably the best cup of coffee that I ever had. I got the French press, and OMG it was worth the extra 50 cents or

Got a grilled pb&j and a mocha and sat in here and worked on my computer during a time I planned on spending at a park and got rained out. Disappointing circumstances led me to a great discovery. Very much enjoyed my time and food and drink from here.

My walking group at least once or twice a month visit the shop for our coffee addiction. I’ve had its pour overs along with its vanilla lattes. Both are exceptional. I’ve also purchased bags of coffee to go for my machines at home. Staff is always pleasant, even when there are screaming kids. The staff is always prompt, courteous, and efficient. I’ve never eaten the pastry because there is no GF options. The place gives off a nice vib and whenever I’m there, there’s plenty of sitting. I will visit the store again in about two weeks, again with my walking buddies.

Coffee was decent. Breakfast sandwich was mediocre.. Dunkin has better sandwiches. Taking off another star because the pay tablet at the cash register only has THREE tip options and all of them are above 20%. The tablet is enormous, so everyone behind you and the cashier can see you entering a lesser tip, or just pressing no tip altogether.I wouldn't mind paying a 10-15% tip for someone to make my coffee. But that process takes 2 minutes and they're paid normal wage (non tipped wage), so we shouldn't really be expected to tip them anything anyway. And the fact that you are only given 3 tip options, all of which are outrageous, is one of the reasons why I won't be going back.

Iced lattes were fantastic! We got the mocha and carmel. Grilled cheese sandwiches were the ultimate comfort food, spicy and delicious!
