“The staff at Big Walnut Animal Care Center goes out of the way to make their animal and human clients appreciated. From the moment we walk in, it’s a great experience from the office staff of admin and vet techs. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Hurst for years. At this point, it’s like visiting with a friend. She is so thorough and I never feel rushed in our appointment. Highly recommend!”

“We have recently ran into a situation where I needed to have a vet for our dog. We called her vet in Zanesville, and every vet in town. No one was able to work her in. Called McConnelsville, and they were not able. Reached out to family in Marietta and they recommended Dr. Kid. I had to wait for a return call, but Dani (who answered phone) was more than willing to ask if they would be able to squeeze her in. This was despite their already busy scheduled day. When I spoke to Dani, I explained everything to her that had been going on. By the time we got there, my dog had we from being lethargic, seeming almost dead, no appetite, to being back to her self. They assured me I was not crazy and they were still willing to see her. They informed me that we would have a wait which I was totally ok with. I could see they were busy. We actually waited about 2 hrs, and I was debating on leaving, Because my dog was doing so much better, but we made the trip she needed to be seen. Although I thought my dog was back to normal, blood work told us otherwise. I don’t believe that we would’ve had a long visit if it hadn’t been our situation where they were working her in. The staff was more than nice. Everyone seemed very, very caring. And I was at their mercy. Dr. Kidd was very thorough and explaining what was going on. Dani was able to help with more questions. Our girl may have a little road ahead of her. We as a family are more than grateful for their willing to squeeze here in. We got answers and a plan. 100% glad we made the drive to this office. I can’t thank them enough.”

My baby just turned one on our last recent visit, she took him in the back and I just heard them cheering for him and saying it’s his birthday month and I'm sure showing him lots of love. Love it. “I am so grateful that I found Dr. Henry! I have an 11 year old Newfoundland, and about 6 months ago she could no longer get in and out of the car. Just talking about the car would stress her out. Now we only use Buckeye Mobile Vet Services, and Dr. Henry and her assistant have been absolutely wonderful. They truly care about what is best for animals, and Dr. Henry stays informed and up to date on the latest treatment options. She really takes her time to explain any diagnosis and the choices for treatment. I am so thankful to have such a wise and caring vet!”
“We have been regular patients of this clinic for year's. I have had 9 dogs comr here. I changed to this clinic because my other vet was scared of my 100 lb German Shepard. Not here all of my dog's have walked right in and jumped on the scale like nothing bad is going to happen. I have been met at the door everytime we had emergency. One time our only 5 year old couldn't breath well. He saw him a week before everything was good.As soon as we walked in we were told go to emergency clinic, we walked in this emergen clinic Yorkshire called them and said we were on.way because when we walked in they knew it was us and they took our baby and put him in oxygen chamber immediately. That was 3 years ago he is still in good shape. It was scarey and really bad.
I highly recommend them I'm on my 23rd dog I think they are very kind and not outrageous prices.

My dog almost completely ripped off her dewclaw when she fell on a patch of snowy ice and concrete late at night, and I called the next morning to see if someone would be able to help her. Dr. Horvath was so kind fitting her in after completing his morning surgeries, all of his staff was so very helpful and I felt she would be in good hands. It was our first visit since Dr. Nash retired, and Missy and I will continue to come here for her veterinary care. Everyone made us feel welcome, answered all my questions and helped put my mind at ease, followed up the next day because she had sedation and surgical removal of her destroyed dewclaw, and most importantly - took wonderful care of my sweet girl.”
