“So it’s out in the middle of Ohio. The place is beautiful but we were only out here because of a family event. Definitely not right off the highway but we loved this place. The cabins are super spacious. I felt a little weird when I called because the guy just answers it like it’s his phone personal phone or something. He doesn’t say it’s the cabins or his name and how can he help you. That’s about the only complaint I had and it’s not even a complaint. Just feels off like “did I call the right place?”. The cabins are clean and smell like cedar inside. It was so nice. My husband and I loved this place and will def remember it next time we come into town. They have a hut with board games and fun stuff like frisbees and other yard games to use while your in the cabins.”

“The Eco Center is nothing short of amazing. A picturesque setting, complete with provided refreshments and cake, the atmosphere was inviting. We brought kids ages ranged from 2-20, that's a majority of teen boys and girls, you know the ages of make up and cell phones and selfies... But not today. I got to see my loved ones being kids again! The girls took their shoes off and was catching frogs and toads in the grass, along the senic trails, identifying animal tracks, and showing the smaller kids different animals. Their freshly polished nails dug deep into the feed for the irresistibly adorable goats and sheep they were lovingly greeted by.. They took goat selfies because they said the goats could smile ? and the boys, not a one on their phones playing games, there was no time between competing in the mini ninja warrior course, obstacle courses, rolling tunnel... Helping the smaller kids on the zip lines.. The chickens cheering them on... I had a hard time getting any of them to come in to cut the cake, I didn't blame them, if it wasn't a formality of birthdays I would have stayed out playing too, soaking up the rare beauty of a nature I rarely see or interact with much in my adult years.. 90degree heat and not one kid sitting in the well ventilated and cool polebarn.. They only ever stopped for a moment, to get their faces painted by Emily, entertainment also provided by the eco center.. My 2 year old, wouldn't touch the cake, she immediately jumped to the ground to run to the rock wall, singing, play play play... She wouldn't leave the play sets or the pretend kitchen alone! You know, we didn't even open one gift? We were soo caught up in the moment of our kids bonding with each other and nature that we didn't want it to end! I've never had or been to a more beautiful or meaningful birthday party in my life! Thank you Eco Center, Emily, for creating a beautiful oasis where time stands still and kids of all ages can be kids again???”
