So wow.. Apparently US Bank is no longer interested or able to service their remaining Gallipolis branch I have tried calling during normal business hours only to receive a message referring me to the freakin' (I'll use my filter and leave out the word I actually want to use here) website for service??!!
I've had several accounts with US Bank for 4-5 years that I opened at what was then one of two branches serving Gallipolis. The customer service at the bank and the overall communication with the various US Bank employees was phenomenal. The branch I opened my initial accounts was closed a few years ago before COVID so I used the other. The tellers and management team were still great there too.
What I need handled is simply much more complex with several layers of Q&A, advice, explanations, potentially opening an additional account, etc. Fumbling and bludgeoning my way through a website or mobile app to do what I was attempting to accomplish is absolutely a NO GO for me. No thanks US Bank. I'll move my funds elsewhere before dealing with this type of painful banking.

So I called us bank to shut my account down and the lady said to wait a couple days to make sure nothing else comes in or out and so she called me and said to come get the 1.29 out of it and it's now shut down. We'll 6 months later I'm receiving a bill for 39 dollars and they say there's nothing they can do about it. How is it my fault when I went through the proper channels to shut my account down. This is unprofessional and I will not be doing business here ever again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Their hours are inconvenient.

Obviously we need to close our accounts here. The Galipolis branch is not too far from us, but 9 - 4 hours on weekdays and no weekend hours lead me to believe they flat out don't want to see people, or be convenient. Been with them for years but I guess the time has come to walk away.

Ordered checks and a new binder as I use desk checks. Got the checks and still waiting for the binder. The binder I have is 40 years old and held together with duct tape. I paid 78.00 for checks and I don’t get a binder, which I figure will cost 50.00. What goes on here. I told the guy to be sure to get a binder. He was nice and said he had ordered it. My check numbers was wrong. My checks Ended with 11725, the new ones start at11780. What’s wrong with this picture? OVB sounds pretty good right now. Please get your act together and send me a binder. I’m have been with US Bank for almost 50 years. I know there is a charge for it. I will pay for it when it comes. PLEASE SEND THE BINDER.

Always closed. Their polices are even stricter than the local hospital concerning Covid. Their whole concept of the futuristic bank is unreasonable and before it’s time. If your a local bank and you read this, just advertise that you like to see customer’s faces and you will get a lot of their business. Guarantee it!! I know MANY who have left here.

How are you suppose to make it to the bank to do anything when it closes at 4 and isnt open on the weekend? Complexly insane. Been a US bank customer for over 20 years and even kept my account when I lived in different states without a US bank. Now wondering if I should close and get a different bank thats ACTUALLY open and wants to have my business.

Silver Bridge Office seems to almost always be closed now. Thinking of switching the business accounts to a different financial institution

The lady in the front office is super rude. She acts like people are just an inconvenience to her. The tellers were nice enough but it shouldn’t take as long as it did just to do a signature addition. The teller clearly wasn’t trained on how to do it. Very glad we don’t have to do in person banking. And the $2 per check charge to use a counter check is asinine. Maybe it’s time to find another bank.

Branch Manager Jason came to the rescue! He facilitated the completion of an affidavit form, required by the Franklin County Title office. Jason is professional & helpful. This was a very positive experience. Thank You Jason & US Bank Gallipolis! :)

Save yourself the time and trouble. Do not do open an account at US Bank. I've had my account for 3 months probably and have had nothing but issues. Stopping me from having 2 transactions in the same day because they're the same amount and I told them numerous times it was accurate still wouldn't allow me to complete the transaction. Daily spending limit s ($200) on MY money. Had an automated payment go through last night at 1130 which overdrew my account so knowing I have 24 hours to fix it and obviously the bank is closed at 1130pm, I deposited the money less than 12 hours later and they charged me an overdraft fee. So I called the bank to see why and the representative I spoke with (caitlin) was unbelievably RUDE! She kept talking over me not listening to anything I said and wasn't helpful at all. And when I told her I've had nothing but issues with them she responds with "sorry" not well how can we fix it what issues have you been having nothing. Zero attempt to retain a customer. When I asked how to cancel my account she said I have to go to the actual branch to do so. By far the WORST customer service I've ever had in my life. What an absolutely awful bank.
