Flawless Upgrade Experience – Wesley is the GOAT
Just had the smoothest, most stress-free upgrade of my life thanks to Wesley at Verizon. I went in to check out the iPhone 16 Pro Max and left wondering if I should bring Wesley a coffee next time—because THAT’S how good he is.
From start to finish, he was friendly, patient, and clearly knows his stuff. He didn’t rush anything, answered all my questions without making me feel dumb, and made sure I understood every detail before finalizing the upgrade. Total pro.
Seriously, if you’re going into this location, ask for Wesley. Whether you’re tech-savvy or have no idea what a terabyte is, he’ll take care of you like a VIP.

The day I was at the Verizon Store, the name of the associate who waited on me was Laura. She was knowledgeable about electronics, while I can barely change a light bulb! She patiently explained all points to me and it was finally decided that a new phone was my only recourse. She worked with me for a couple hours trying very hard to pull all of my information, pictures, etc from my old phone. But due to it falling from my car, there was info enveloped in cracks and folds that we could not retrieve. We then touched on wifi for where I lived. It has very poor service and I finally ditched DirectTV and was using little portable hot spots from the local library. She talked about the ones offered through your service and because I had an appointment I could not stay for all the info. But I did call her on the phone and got further info on it and returned a couple days later and picked up a portable wifi set-up. BEST decision made in a long time. Laura was informed, kind, and deftly led me through anything I did not immediately grasp (even when I asked her to reduce it to words of one syllable or less.)
I am extremely pleased with my interactions at the Russell Cellular Verizon Store in Gallipolis, Ohio

Hire more employees, every time I've went in I wait a century to be seen, on top of that this time I went in at 530 and get told its probably gonna be a half hour that I'd have to come back tomorrow, I dont know why it would take an hour to upgrade a phone but its hard to believe you guys stay in business with customer service like that, I dont know why I haven't switched to at&t

Laura was very professional and very friendly, She helped us greatly she had my new phone 100% operating perfectly before I left the, she explained our bill and what we could expect, if not for her great professional attitude I would have left and went to Athens. Very nice person to do business with.

I went into Verizon the other day and they have a great new Manager Laura that helped me she is very pleasant and knew what she knew what she was doing! What an awesome staff! I hope they all stay because it is a joy to go in there!

This store is terrible. I returned several devices and one device was misplaced in the Gallipolis Ohio store.Or was picked up by UPS with no return ticket. I am being charged for a home phone device I returned 2 months ago. I do not have this device. I'm being harassed with emails and messages. I am not paying for this device because the Russell employee misplaced the device. Check the usage . There is none. If I had this device wouldn't it show minutes used on my invoice? Someone needs to get this mistake which is not my fault or my job. Please get my account fixed and remove the home phone device from my account.If something isn't done soon I will be contacting the Attorney Generals office. Very disappointed in this business!I

Had a horrible experience I ordered a tablet online for store pickup was told they had it ready to go for me once I got there. When I arrived I began speaking with Cara to which she rudely said that there was nothing on her end after I had called and made sure! The lady was on some type of drugs she couldn't even make a complete sentence without bouncing from this thought to that thought something needs done about this! I will never ever shop at this store again!

Been a Verizon customer for 25 years in three states, never encountered such a talented and multi- tasker as Kara in the Gallipolis store. Solved my complicated problem while helping other customer at same time. Many thanks Kara. Jim B
