Thorn Apple Country Club is a fun and challenging golf course that is well-maintained and in great shape, offering a good variety. The layout is open yet challenging regardless of skill level. The clubhouse has a cool, retro 70s/80s vibe that is old school in a good way. The staff is polite, helpful, and friendly. The course and the food and beverages are fairly priced and pretty good. A highlight is the legendary 16th hole. The main drawbacks are the lack of a driving range and significant parking issues, with tight spots that are difficult for modern cars. Pace of play can also be slow, with groups continuously funneled in. Despite this, it is a great place to spend a few hours, a blast to play, and definitely worth a return visit.
The staff is amazing and friendly and the course is is always improving in condition. i always enjoy my time anytime i come to thorn apple.

Maybe my new favorite public course in central Ohio. It’s a fun and fair track with solid conditions, variety of mileage to suit all levels, big open 19th hole, and really nice sims. Locally owned and operated, in fact we met the owner today before the round.
