“I've actually only met good and friendly folks at DG stores but I like this particular store b/c they've helped me a few times with a Black Friday sale on Thanksgiving day, which I'm sure is a stressful day for them as-is. I don't like shopping in public much these days, especially anything Black Friday, but DG stores are the only ones to offer a particular sale so, to deal with friendly/helpful folks makes it fast and easy for someone like myself to take advantage of the sale that unfortunately happens once a year. And it's been multiple different people there each of the times I've gone in for the sale over the years.”
“We've been going to our DG for 5 years, and it has always been the cleanest, most organized DG ive ever been to. Bob is a great manager, and the ladies are always so helpful and friendly. “Admittingly it has been several months since I've been here. Yet, no matter the issue that happens here, its always a store that tries its best to accommodate when no others seem to care to. People need to try to be more understanding. Because... This town would be nothing without this store. Many locals have been saying for years that there is no where to work and no where to shop in Windham.... Whoa wait what? Years?! If that doesn't scream loudly to corporate to tell all their buddies that there is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to made here... Well I can tell you how many times I've heard from living out in the local vicinity for years is how horrible it is by the hundreds of accounts having to drive 20 minutes to any store... and there is a sizeable population here. That is a lot of cash loss... Even if the neighborhood may or may not be as say savory as some areas. There are plenty of stores in the Akron and Cleveland areas that have circumvented these issues and still makes hundreds of thousands of dollars.. Do the community a favor fellow businesses and build build build here! If not, I know you guys just went through a remodel but if no one else wants to build here. You could always just make your store bigger and bigger and take advantage of the situation. You would only be doing the community a favor in the long run.. and you would only get to put more cash in hand. . . and food in peoples mouths that now dont have to risk the local high speed two lane roads... Especially in the winter.. or those who dont have a vehicle currently in town. Or too old drive etc. etc. Sounds like a win win.”

“This is my go-to for all those things that drag us back to a big box or grocery store, no matter how many lists we make. What I need is always in stock & no more second trips or wasted time going back to other places! Just started using their app. Saved over $7.00 just between dog food, detergent, & a few other necessities. Awesome! If they boosted standard internet signals inside their stores, bet they would get even more sales from all those digital deals. Lost a star for poor internet access inside, which is required to use the blasted app!”

“Feeling downsides I can think of is the online ordering debacle cuz I don't think they have people trained for it but that's just a corporate problem not the store as in being stock it's pretty much stocked when I go in there it's like some miles are empties like they're always refreshing the store always rearranging things that's corporate not the store and having a number to the store to ask questions again corporate not store”

“Well since everyone is panicking & everywhere seems to be out of T.P. it was good to see a sign posted "Out of Toilet Paper & hand sanitizer on the door" so my daughter & I knew not to even bother looking? so we stacked up on Ramen noodles & chocolate instead.”
