8331 Windham St, GarrettsvilleI moved to the area 13 days ago & my pets had their annuals the week before we moved so I felt like I didn’t need to rush to find veterinary care… I was wrong. One of my dogs got injured on his tail on moving day and we had been cleaning & changing the bandages, but when I removed the dressing yesterday his tail tip was black. I freaked out. I had passed Garrettsville Animal Hospital previously so I just put my dog in the car and drove straight there. My hope was that they could point me to the nearest emergency vet. Kelly welcomed me and remained calm while I sobbed at her desk. As luck would have it, their appointment for that time slot had canceled. Jessica took us back to a room and Dr. Marcia was in within seconds. We were treated with such compassion and kindness and the fact that everyone remained calm and loved on my sweet doggy is the reason I was able to calm down. Their obligation to a stranger off the street is zero, but they chose to treat us like part of their family and it’s obvious to me that caring for animals is absolutely their top priority. My dog’s tail is wrapped (he may still lose the tip but it’s nothing I need to freak out over), he’s on pain meds and antibiotics, and my family has a new veterinary clinic.

7979 State St, Garrettsvillel met Johanna through the free training classes she held at local libraries. when it became apparent that I and my Golden mix,Diego couldn't do this on our own, l looked at different trainers and programs. l felt Johanna and her training methods were what would work best for Diego and myself. Diego had an extreme fear of the car but with Johanna's methodical training and patience on both our parts, Diego loves his car rides! We are currently working on additional training. l highly recommend Johanna/ Four Legged Scholars!

8097 Main St, GarrettsvilleOut for a drive today and stopped here for lunch. My friend and I ordered the Tzatziki Chicken and Crispy Fish tacos. They were really delicious. They came with homemade pita chips and a dip that was amazing. The bartender, McKenzie, was very pleasant and attentive.

8148 Main St, GarrettsvilleWe stopped here after hiking at the nearby Nelson Kennedy Ledges State Park. We were seated in the main dining room and had the place to ourselves as no one else was seated back there. Our server took drink orders and I tried their Oktoberfest. They have around ten beverages on tap. I ordered the Patty Melt and my wife had the Nashville honey hot wrap. We both went with the onion rings. My burger was a bit greasy but flavorful. It was a big burger. My wife really enjoyed her wrap. The onion rings were excellent, crispy and served with a tangy sauce that complimented them perfectly. Service was good and friendly. The prices are a bit high compared to other similar establishments but we were happy with both the food and service.

11241 Center Rd, GarrettsvilleI am located in VA and really felt insecure choosing a dog online without personally seeing it. Several people said don't do it. But I wanted to explore this option. I was impressed by Bree, her operation and her willingness to answer my questions and to have a few face time chats to introduce me to the various dogs I was attracted to. The process was so easy and efficient. After several calls and face time chats I had decided on a small Brown Merle, whom I've named Jagger. Jagger was transported to my home in a dog transport van. The transport company kept me informed of his approximate arrival time and it all went down without a glitch.Jagger is 10 months old now and is 25 lbs. His unusual Brown Merle coat/coloring is very unique-to date have not seen a dog like him in the Greater Washington DC area. He is very active and enjoys sniffing out box turtles from my backyard. He makes a fuss when he finds one but is so gentle with them-just barks! Jagger is a very athletic dog and enjoys long walks. He gets along with my 2 cats...one has him wrapped around his paw/finger and the other plays chase with him. He has never been aggressive with the cats.I highly recommend Bree's operation to anyone looking for an Australian Labradoodle pup.Thanks Bree...Beth from VA
