I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and was desperate because Ace Auto was closed for the week. Its a very low budget shop. Ray seems like a okay guy to talk to but I will never go back there for car work again. Told me hed run the code the day I dropped it off n give me a call abt the issue. He never called. When I called he got upset that I asked if I should bring a code reader up and told me to come get the car. Never did because, just do what you say your gonna do. Anyways he told me my car was in safe mode and charged me 120$ to clear the code. Told me I needed a oil change lol. Did absolutely nothing mechanical. No itemized bill. Driving down the road 2 days later my engine light starts blinking again. Bring it to another shop. They tell me no amount of being over an oil change would put the car into safe mode (its only abt 500-800 miles over and is full on oil). So I paid 120$ to have a code cleared which Autozone could have did for free. Save yourself the headache. Bring it to a shop thats known. Tom at Country Auto Marine in Ashtabula ran the code and cleared it for free, and is now finding out the ACTUAL issue. Thanks for nothin Ray ?♂️

Took my car to Ray for my breaks and he got them fixed and even stayed over at the shop to get it done today!!! Very reliable and good at what he does!!!!

My son’s car had been at two dealers for four months. Ray had it two days and fixed it. His prices are super low! Recommend!!!

I can't recommend this repair shop....my experience was awful. Got my car back the same way I left it...same check engine light on ...same code...good luck with this place...better bring a big wallet too.

Our axle broke on our way to Missouri Ray stopped what he was working on to get us back on the road, we have a 61 Parkwood Station Wagon he had to hit the junk yard and by golly we were on the road in a few hours.
