“The German American Festival has been held since 1966, this is their 59 year. The grounds where the festival is at is mostly wooded, with the Glockenspiel and main stage being on a paved lot area. 2 smaller stages with dance floors for traditional dances like woodchopper, and knee knocker dance, and cow bell hobbies shared. Can't miss those proformances. Total area is all paved walking areas, great for wheelchairs and strollers. Large kid area with bounce houses. Lots of benches, tables, chairs. Glockenspiel on the hour every hour. Entry is only $15 and Food was inexpensive, though we wish they had homemade pretzels these were the soft pretzels from the freezer section, the potato salad unfortunately for us left something to be desired ( yes we have had many German potato salads) The snitzel sandwich was good. The rock throwing competition and others are very fun to watch as well. Definitely a must see event! See my walk through video on my you tube channel.”
“Held my wedding reception here. Space is charming. Provided decorations are lovely. Price is affordable. Overall very happy with the space and all that came with its decor and bar package.”
