“Great clinic, great staff! I took my outdoor/garage kitty there today to get her checkup. She (Bitty) had a lot to say (typical tortitude) until the tech started patting her butt while she was wrapped as a purrito. She actually fell asleep!”

“My dog ripped his dewclaw off on a Sunday late afternoon and we had to have it treated. They were able to have a tech care for it pretty quickly for such a packed waiting room. Grateful for them and affordable to have it treated before taking him to his vet for a followup, antibiotic, and pain meds.”

“We see Dr Aggarwal and absolutely love him! He has treated my dog and two cats, from wellness visits to illnesses. He and his staff are all kind, non judgemental, and really have your pets best intrests at heart! I never have to wait when I come in for an appointment, and I dont have to wait weeks to get in either. In fact, im usually the only one in the waiting room when I go, which is great if you have a fearful or reactive pet. They've gotten me in next day when my cat was sick. If your pet is sick they work with you to come up with a treatment plan in your budget. Fear of cost is a huge reason alot of people dont take their animals to the vet, so I included some pictures of invoices from both my dog and my cats wellness/vaccine appointments so others have a ballpark of what to expect. Keep in mind, like everywhere else, prices are going to vary based on size, breed ect. Please dont let fear of cost keep you from care! If you call them or text them, they will he very upfront about costs with you. I love that they have an online pharmacy too that just ships your pets meds right to your house, and their prices are better than chewy and amazon for medications. I trust all the staff at Howland Community to take great care of my dog and cats whole heartedly! They really just want to make sure your animals are healthy, but dont try to upsell you on things your pets dont need either. I wont be going anywhere else for my animals.”

“Have a very difficult German Shepherd who has become afraid of vet visits. We heard about them from a friend in the same situation. We went for a consult and dog was out of control. They came up with a solid plan for his next visit. He’s on seizure medication which makes medications difficult. I’m so pleased and not anxiety ridden for the next appointment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is a plus!”

“Dr. Parks and ALL the staff including nurses are wonderful! They took my dog Midnight after a house fire that my baby was trapped in. I wasnt home at the time the fire broke out. Liberty fire dept saved his life. They took my dog immediatly and all i had was a red cross card, the fire was a total lose. I explained that was all i had and they worked with me. Than they came out with food, water and dog supplies since the fire left us both homeless with no supplies. We are now housed, but their kindness and compassion as he was tramatized was so great! I will always love them for their support during a time of need. Highly recommend! God Bless everyone!”

“The service here is amazing. They are caring and kind. They followed up with me the next day to see how my dog Kingston was doing after he was diagnosed with diabetes. The vet tech spent 15 minutes on the phone with me a couple of days later answering all my questions.”

“I had adopted a rescue dog about 2 weeks ago. When I took her in to be spayed at another clinic, they were not wanting to do it because they noticed she had a heart arrhythmia. This was unknown to me when I adopted her. So I made an appointment with mahoning valley veterinary center to have her assessed. Everybody in the office was just so caring and concerned. They gave recommendations. Pros and cons of different treatments. Never pushed for any of them just gave honest explanations of possible outcomes. Returned my calls promptly after test results were received. I love my dog. I may have only had her for a couple weeks but I absolutely love her. We decided on a plan and I feel very comfortable now with her future. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and quick to give all options. The technicians and rest of the staff couldn't be better. I would recommend them to anyone. Especially if you have special concerns about your pet. I thank all of you so much at mahoning valley veterinarian.”

“My cat ended up swatting my Green Cheek Conure and I truly thought he was going to die, by the way he was flopping around. I called and I wasn't even a client here yet and told them the situation and they told me to bring him in. Dr. Allen looked over him and found a small scratch on his back behind the wing (bleeding just a little bit) that I didn't see was bleeding when I was bringing him in. So, they put some powder stuff on to stop the bleeding and then gave him an injection of antibiotics. Frankie and I are so grateful they were able to get him in, because they definitely saved his life.”

“Extremely nice and cared about my older cats, when Squealer and Buddy passed they were very compassionate, a little more could be done for their communication skills tho. Because with my new kitten explaining the meds they gave her would cause diarrhea was never mentioned. Still love the place! They work with me because I am on a budget.”

“Went here for a lot of years with all of my pets. I lost my dog in September of 2022 to old age and he was cared for at Town and Country. I called today to make an appointment for my new puppy and was told they couldn't give me anything for 6 weeks. When I asked why so long the girl said," well we haven't seen this pet". I said I had just been in there in a september with my other dog and she said that makes no difference. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said they were all gone. All gone at 2:05 in the afternoon when they are open until 10:00 P Update: I called and spoke to Andrea, who I've known from taking my other dog to them and got an appointment within a week. Toby has had his Neuter here and loved the staff. The difference in the price for his surgery was over $300 less at Town and Country. So, we are going to Dr Drotar and she is great.”

“Absolutely love everyone here! Such a friendly and calm atmosphere. I just had my boy neutered by them, and they had one of the lowest quotes in the area. So glad we switched vets!”

“I have gone here for more than 30 years with Dr. Crago and subsequently with Dr. Smith, who I cannot say enough accolades about. And Dr. Distoli is wonderful as well. The entire staff is just the very best! Love, Love, Love them all and they already know that!”

“I accidentally made my appointment for 2 weeks from now and showed up 2 weeks early with my cat! My cat has to be sedated for 12 hours in advance, and since he already had so much medicine, the staff was kind enough to try to fit him in quickly while I was there. It was my mistake but I appreciated that so much, it's such a hassle to get him sedated at home before his visits. Cat tax, photo evidence of him being zooted in his baby bjorn at home.”

“I was apprehensive about taking my Siberian Husky Kylo to another veterinarian but all of the staff there were very kind and understanding. The Dr was a great guy. They treated my Husky's skin infection with great care. It was an overall satisfactory visit and I would definitely refer people to Crago and Dr Scott”

“Just wanted to comment that today my dog Cooper saw Dr Veronica and her assistant Kelly and they were amazing so friendly kind caring professionals that was outstanding... And it was his first visit with the first visit of no charge for the exam with a coupon it's a great marketing strategy I mean you do have to pay if there's any meds dispensed or any tests involved but the exam itself normally I think $80 was free and you can look for the coupon online if anyone might find this helpful.. so free visit and yet was treated like a king.”
