Absolutely the worst customer service. Provided all the necessary paperwork for insurance. My Insurance provider did the same with no response from go store it. Continued to charge my account for insurance. Cannot get the issue resolved as knowine is ever at the location to speak with. I have never been late with a payment and corporate call center doesn't care. Stay away!

Clean modern storage facility. Neighborhood is trendy with population mixed with young adults and seniors.

6 months in and a 40% rate increase. It WILL happen to you. They are still advertising my size unit for less than half what they plan on charging me. "Regrettably, due to various factors, we find it necessary to adjust the rental rates for certain units, including the one you currently occupy."
Various factors like:
-Knowing you're locked in and paid an 'administration fee'
-Knowing how difficult it is to move from one place to the other
-Knowing that although their rent hasn't gone up (they own the building) they can pretend like it has somehow gotten more expensive
-Being comfortable with the business practice of bait and switch
Previous post is spot on, there's been nothing but mechanical trouble, entry way security for several months was laughable but since seemingly fixed. Even a weekend where no-one could enter the building without calling the front desk, which, although she is the ONLY reason this is higher than one star, she can't be around all the time.
Don't get me wrong, space will always be at a premium and I'm willing to pay for it. Just BE HONEST ABOUT IT. Advertise it like a discount for a few months or a one time only bonus. But doing it this way is disingenuous, puts people in a bad spot, and feels greedy.

The online process so user friendly and easy. Access to the storage unit is great. Very clean facility including the restroom. Glad I’m there.

I rented storage space for my small business at this Goodale Blvd. facility for 14 or 15 months, during which time there were a number of issues with the elevators in the building. Last weekend, I went to this facility on Saturday night to gather product for a market I was scheduled to sell at on Sunday only to find that the two elevators in the building were out of service and the door to the fourth floor, where my storage unit *was* located, was locked. GoStoreIt did not send out an email letting its customers know that their access would be impacted; there was just a handwritten note on the door of the building letting everyone know that management would be out until Monday morning. Long story short: My company lost about $500 by my estimate, and GoStoreIt offered me $50 in credit for my next month's rental fee, which is an insult. Also, I had literally JUST signed a rental agreement with a new storage facility on Wednesday (FOUR DAYS after the GoStoreIt access problem) when GoStoreIt's regional manager finally got around to contacting me about my bad experience with his company, and this guy had the audacity to tell me that he wished I hadn't signed an agreement with another company because he had been willing to offer me "several months" in make-good time, which is really easy to say when the customer has already flown the coop. Anyway, this location may be OK if you're just looking to store furniture, etc. and you don't need reliable access. However, if you're a business and you're looking for a place to store your product(s), be warned.

This was formerly Tri Village Storage and was very good. Ever since becoming Go Store It it’s gone downhill. Currently the front door is boarded up and has been for weeks, the gate is left in open position, and the elevator fob is not working so all levels are accessible to anyone. These are serious security concerns. I’m including photos.
After renting a very large unit for several years, I recently moved to a smaller 10’x10’ unit. After only 6 months in the new unit my rent was increased 25%. I’ve called multiple times to ask for a reduction. While the people in the local office are pleasant, they have no authority to do anything. They always say someone else up higher up will respond but they never do. Unfortunately I’ll be seeking other storage solutions.

We renting a 5x10 storage today and I have to say the experience was great! We worked with Tina at the Grandview location in Columbus Ohio. She was amazing! Everything was explained perfectly and she assisted us with every step. I know she was very busy but I never felt rushed. We could not be happier with the service!
