“The people here was extremely nice and very polite the store was well-maintained and many had a little trouble getting through one of the hours but that may have been my big but not theirs really enjoyed shopping there looking forward to going back”

“This store is spotless. Smells good and is stocked. The staff said hello and we're extremely friendly. The big thing for me is the stocked shelves and environment. I felt they cared and took their job serious. So many today do not. Highly impressed with the store and staff. Keep up the good work.”
“This store has very nice employees. Lots of merchandise to choose from. There was quite a few big boxes in different aisles I think for restocking. Those boxes made it very difficult to get around the store. I also was unable to see or reach a few items. I would recommend a little more organization or restock after hours.”
“This store is great for the bang of buck. Always willing to help you find something and Kimmy is very patient when it comes to….. “interesting people”. From reading glasses to basic necessities and they also take SNAP EBD for purchases.”
“Hallmark cards are $1.25 and quite an assortment. All types of cards and a really good price you'll always find more then you need of not just cards, but really good items and the price is right. A must place to shop.”
“When time is short and you need something quickly, this is a good place to stop. It is the only such store in West Alexandria, so there is no competition. At one time there was another "Dollar" store in town. It was a locally owned store; much smaller than Dollar General. The prices were really good at the other place, but they could not compete with the much larger (and varied) inventory of Dollar General. I hated to see the other store close. The owner held out as long as possible, but the closure was inevitable. That being said, it is good to have Dollar General in West Alexandria; saves having to drive to one in another town.”
“The store is getting an upgrade, I guess you'd call it. They are now carrying stuff that's like plus $3,$4,or even $5. They have the shelves stocked well and the store is clean. I enjoyed my visit.”
“Great for local corner store ...has fresh produce and good selection of pretty much everything you need. 4 to 7 pm can be very busy with only one cashier working.”

“Always so clean and organized! All the workers are lovely which makes going there so easy especially when it’s the only thing close to you! You can tell they take great care of everything and clean wonderfully! Other dgs don’t even compare to this clean and well stocked one!”
