I didn’t find this place to be worth visiting at all. Dirty, not friendly, almost nothing inside, not recommended whatsoever. I rate this landmark at 1/2 a soda stop.

Staff is extremely friendly, very well kept store, and the Pizza and Ice Cream is hard to beat. I travel for work here from southern WV and it’s nice to have a place like this that makes you feel a little more at home. 5/5

Today we got the smoked pork chop dinner it was awesome the chop was huge and the beans were unbelievable and the apples just rounded out the terrific meal will definitely be ordering again.

Great little general store with everything from fishing tackle to the best homemade ice cream. Plus it’s just a beautiful drive to get there.

The smoked stuffed burgers, macaroni and cheese and of course their ice cream. The staff is friendly and down to earth. It is located in a peaceful sleepy village.

We had planned on heading farther to get gas but the road was closed so we stopped here. We are sure glad we did. We were charmed by the aged charm of the building. We decided to go in and look around. Upon entering we were greeted by Bill Park the third generation owner since his Grandad bought the store in 1938. This looks more like a miscellaneous store than a general store but it holds charm. The original shelves are still there, painted white and filled with new and very old items. Bill spoke to us about the history of the area and also the store itself was built in the 1840's. He had great knowledge of the area and told us some local lore. His store doesn't have a large selection of items of the food stuffs kind, but go in and take a load off while he tells tales of yesteryear.
