This pharmacy is dangerous. This morning I came in and asked the pharmacist (Marty) specifically for "dextromethorphan, brompheniramine, and phenylephrine" in an over-the-counter medication, because our pediatrician recommended it specifically as an additional med for my sick 2 year old. The pharmacist immediately told me that I could not get it without a prescription. She was very dismissive of me and would not let me finish a sentence. She wouldn't look at the piece of paper where the Dr had written down with the exact words, verbatim, of what ingredients I needed in the medication. I couldn't believe how rude she was. I tried multiple times to clarify my question to the pharmacist, to clarify what my doctor told me that my child needed, and to re-confirm that the pharmacist was specifically saying that "was not available," so that I could relay that to our pediatrician. The pharmacist (Marty) wouldn't even let me finish my question before trying to walk away and literally said "I'm too busy". The other pharmacy employees seemed empathetic of my situation and obviously embarrassed of her behavior. I repeatedly tried to finish my question, but she would not let me finish. Another pharmacy employee chimed in an said "that medication isn't available anyway." My wife was horrified at their behavior and lack of basic tact or customer service. Let alone that their one specific role is provide medication advice and fill prescriptions from physicians.I was a pharmacy technician for 5 years and we dealt with countless nightmare-pharmacists like this who let their personal emotions get in the way of their dutiful oath to help & protect patients. It's the low-life's like this who have absolutely no business in the profession. Negligent pharmacists undeniably put people's lives at risk. I immediately called my doctor and told her what the impatient pharmacist (Marty) told me. The Doctor said that the pharmacist was "absolutely incorrect", and that she had purchased that specific medication for her own children last week.So I then proceed to a different pharmacy down the road, and once again ask a new pharmacist if they could get me an over-the-counter medication containing "dextromethorphan, brompheniramine, and phenylephrine." This new pharmacist swiftly walked me directly to 4 different options on the shelf, and I found exactly what our doctor had told me to give our sick child. I explained the situation to this new pharmacist of how I had gone to CVS Stringtown and been told very adamantly and impatiently that no such medication existed without a prescription and "even if I did have a prescription it is backordered and not available." This new pharmacist told me she had heard so many awful stories about Stringtown CVS in the past and she would never recommend going there. I am pursuing this issue further with the retail chain's corporate office and the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy on Monday as my wife recorded the entire interaction on video. This place may be great at conveniently providing your potato chips and greeting cards, but when it comes to their one role & responsibility where you need professional medical advice, please don't do yourself the disservice of being insulted by this disgusting example of a professional establishment. I was told an outright lie in front of many employees and pharmacy customers, presumably because she thought I wouldn't know the difference. This person has no business working here.

Very clean, all the staff I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I went to the minute clinic, it was easy and convenient. Then went to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine and they were also very friendly. Highly recommend!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming as I enter the store. They always ask if they can help me find anything and that is refreshing. When I do run into issues, the manager is right on it and helps the other employees out in a timely manner. I appreciate this store so much. It is always a go to for a drink, gum and my medications and I love that it is close to home and I can depend on a nice experience when I am in there. Thank you!

Drive thru is apparently only there for their convenience. Last 3 times there it was closed with a sign saying to come inside. Still nicer than the eakin store.

Always excellent service from pharmacy and cashiers. Sometimes pharmacy doesn’t have medications ready but that’s part of the gig. Especially love Barb at the front, she’s a phenomenal employee and super sweet

Had to get my son a few prescriptions from here. Normally my husband and I use Kroger pharmacy. Well whoever was working today saved me almost half the money. You just gained two new customers today. Thanks CVS

Poor customer service. Employees will just stand and chat with each other. I had that happen today and had to use the self check out while they just stood there watching me. Heaven forbid they stop talking to each other to help anyone. Not sure why they are there.

Update your store hours. We got my prescriptions sent here SPECIFICALLY because it states it’s open until 10 pm. When we showed up at 9:02, the pharmacy was closed. Waste of our time and gas

every time I go to get meds they either haven't even starTed them. But they have had the script for 24hr. or they are always out of the meds that I get every month for the past 6 years. about to just switch at this point

This is a pharmacy, not a lemonade stand... I attempted to pick up a prescription twice this week and the pharmacy has been closed due to a family emergency. (Supposedly just closing within 20 minutes of us getting there.) Not trying to be insensitive to that, but twice the same week? We can't leave our jobs twice in the same week without being questioned... Figure out other arrangements, get a system in place, have a floating pharmacist available, etc. Why is there only 1 pharmacist that apparently has frequent family emergencies... and when they leave, the operation comes to a complete standstill? Sad to watch all the elderly people file out and try to figure out what to do on a weekend without medication, or looking like it's an ordeal for them to get out in the first place.

Out of all the CVS’ I have filled at, this one and its Pharmacy staff and by far the most rude and unprofessional group of people I’ve ever encountered. I will never fill at this location again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Called to make sure what I needed to buy was available. Spoke with an associate and confirmed before driving over. When I got there the pharmacy manager, Tyler, went out of his way to call me a liar and basically embarrass me in front of everyone. I can see why they are so poorly reviewed.

The employees at this store are racist. They refuse to talk to shoppers if they are on the phone. Please note their is NO where in the pharmacy that states you must turn off or get off your phone. They said I had caused a situation when I was on my phone and then when Shown that I was not on the phone still claimed they had a situation. They are not friendly and ignore you when asking for help and while refusing to help me instead helped a white woman. Nice. If you are black, brown or anything other than white you will get poor service.
