We went to H&R Block for our 2022 taxes, where Bonnie Thomas was our tax preparer. During our visit, she had her granddaughter sleeping on the floor under her desk. It took Bonnie a month to complete our taxes, and we were overcharged $1,027 in tax preparation fees. In December 2024, we learned from the IRS that Bonnie mishandled our taxes and never filed them, resulting in late fees and penalties on our state and federal taxes.
We filed a complaint with their customer service center but received no response. I would NOT recommend this location, or H&R Block in general, due to their poor customer service and lack of accountability for their mistakes. They do NOT stand by their guarantee.

While I enjoyed the convenience and the Rep I worked with. I was shocked at the cost. I will have to find a new place to file my taxes as it's just not worth the price.

Solid help, a breath of fresh air after dealing with Turbo Tax the last many years. The tax pro I worked with has given me a plan for combating some revelatory issues and left me feeling far less anxious about my returns than I ever was with TT.

I have been going through H&R Block for 9 years. I have never had any issues until this passed year. My "Tax Pro" Diane Snodgrass made a mistake and told me I owed the state money. When in fact I actually did not.So after all that hassle and frustration Diane offered 50 bucks off next year. But what if I'm not alive to benefit from that in a year?So after explaining that I was told I'd be refunded for my fees. Great news right? Diane told me to wait 4 weeks. Well I waited the 4 weeks and nothing. I asked Diane what was going on. She said these things take time. I asked if there was a 1800 I could call. Diane said there was none. That was inaccurate since there is in fact a 1800 number...So now currently I'm dealing with the 1800 number and trying to get my refund of my fees. Which I'm told can take an additional 8 weeks from today.I'm not sure if I will stay a hrblock customer and just go to a new branch and find a trustworthy tax pro or if I'll go with a new company.I'm just highly dissatisfied and disappointed. Like I have enough I deal with and I didn't think doing my taxes like I do every year would turn into all this.

totally screwed me last year on my taxes the person that was doing my taxes had me listed as head of household which I should have been because I had a dependent she had a simple question for the manager the manager came over and changed my filing status to single I had to pay a totally different tax company to get me the money that I was owed. They screwed me out of $2000 H&R Block did if I had not went through TurboTax I would've never got the money I was owed H&R Block are idiots. I wish they would quit calling my phone because I will never in my life deal with those Morons again they obviously don't know tax laws
