Staff was sweet, but they are clearly trained to move people through the overpriced sales funnel, not to help people make empowered decisions about their pet's care. I really hate to write a bad review, but my experience was bad.I called a couple years ago to take my rescue dog here for checkups. Everything went fine, a lil pricey but not outrageous.A few months later, I called with an emergency where my dog was actively bleeding and the absolute soonest they could get her in was over a week. I went to another vet, should have stayed there.Recently my dog had another small emergency, new vet couldn't get her in, and in my stress I followed Stringtown's prompts to bring her in. The staff was very nice to me and my daughter, took good care of us and gave her toys.Then the conversation with the sales person in the room before I can even see the doctor- what a headache. Tried to sell me on flea/tick stuff, and when I asked basic questions about pricing, didn't know the answers. When I asked questions about alternate treatments that could work since the one we got last time has gone up by over $100 in less than 2 years, she offered me ONE other option for a total of two medications that were supposedly my only options with the office (one of which was out of stock). She kept telling me to look to the office's online store for medications, but couldn't verify the pricing on any of it. Then she said that I could look elsewhere and that the front desk would email the prescription if I needed it.Later that day after leaving the office, I found a reasonably priced heartworm medication online, (which requires a prescription), and called the office to have them send the script to the company or to me. They will do neither, because "it's their policy". They said there's no way they could send it by email, fax, or even snail mail and couched it as "quality control". And of course, even though I was in the office earlier that day, no one had offered to write the script for me then. But suddenly, when I'm about to order from somewhere else, "I do have a 30% off coupon for our online store". Infuriating.Please treat your customers like people instead of coins in the sales funnel. Very disappointed. Thanks for the lack of transparency and making it difficult for customers to buy medications at a more accessible price from another provider.

I just have to say that this place is all about the money. They literally.want you take out a second mortgage on your house to pay the ridiculous prices they charge. You are then made to feel guilty and have you sign a refusal to services when you explain that you can't afford such charges. Take your pet(s) elsewhere.

Great experience from the first person who answered the phone to the Dr. that helped our injured dog. Thank you for caring for him and us during our urgency. He slept like a Bear last night and we couldn't be more grateful.

I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is looking for a vet or hesitant to try them, I just started bringing my animals here in November and the staff Honestly is so amazing and goes above and beyond any expectation that I had. They made me feel welcome, and made me feel completely un judged by my dogs anxiety. I was so nervous to bring her. And they made me feel completely calm And taken care of. These people truly care about the animals. Honestly 10 out of 10 recommend. They also loved my cat, so that was a plus too.

My dog was very sick, and my vet was out of the office. They got me in immediately, the same day. I'm so thankful!

Use this as your last resort , they are slow and have ZERO empathy. Their system is backwards. I’d give them 2 star for the one and only good vet there but literally everything else is awfully set up

My baby passed away in a really bad accident, I have to say that they were really there for me in my time of need. I absolutely appreciate everything they did for me.❤️❤️❤️ And the time they took with my pet was amazing! Thank you!!!

Had to put our older cat down! So sad! They were so kind and took us right in the same day!.We now have a new veterinarian we can depend on for our other two cats needs!Plus they take Care Credit!

Very unprofessional, We took our two dogs here for 1 year. Due an error on them, Our dog needed to visit the ER at Medvet!! Please go anywhere else local to you. The owner NEVER even talked to me about this error and the HR rep. I spoke with was unconcerned since my dog didn't unalive.

The staff at Stringtown Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! We called as non-clients with an emergency for our dog, the staff walked us through a quick sign-up and was able to see our dog within an hour of calling. We received multiple check up calls throughout the next two weeks to ensure everything was going well with our new medications. 10 stars!

Our family are long-time customers of SAH and cannot recommend them enough!Yesterday was an unexpected sick visit to SAH for my pup and I am so grateful to the entire team for getting us scheduled and seen quickly, keeping her for observation, xrays, and necessary tests. Our Theo went on his journey across Rainbow Bridge this past Monday. Dr. Welch and the Staff was so compassionate. They not only comfort our Theo but us also. God Bless them at Stringtown Animal Hospital!
