William Corns (VP) was the glue to Union Savings Bank bridging the gap for minorities reaching their dreams of owning a home!He freely educated everyone he met on the many grants available, along with getting and maintaining their mortgage and would personally reach back out when rates went low about refinancing their already homes.I am a realtor in Central, OH. William was a key player in helping many of my clients in obtaining a mortgage. And since he has passed, (God bless him and his family). I am now aware of the many hurdles that were being given to my minority clients, by Union Savings Bank, that he took on for them to get their homes.Therefore, I have reduced Union Savings Bank stars from my initial 4-stars to a 1.

Once again USB has made refinancing my home a stressful experience. I received 2 separate payment booklets to pay my mortgage. Each book had totally different monthly payment amounts. On top of that both booklets listed the principal loan amount as 3 times what my loan actually is. Now I'm stuck with this awful bank for the next 10 years. I'm sure this won't be the last problem I have with them. I urge everyone to stay away from this bank. DO NOT use them for any reason.

I’m a real estate agent in Central Ohio. Currently working with a buyer using Union Savings. It is rare for me to see this low level of service and communication in my profession. Especially, in such a hot market. My client is buying her first home and is being put through the ringer and may lose this home because of the poor service. I would steer clear of them if I were a consumer.

My mortgage went up almost $100 because the escrow was drawn down to far last year. The first notification I got was when my auto draft was for $100 more than normal. That's right people, my mortgage payment changed dramatically and the bank didn't even so much as send me a letter letting me know it was happening. I called the bank (because you can't even pull up a mortgage statement on their online website) and they referred me to another number and couldn't even transfer me within their company. Terrible customer service. Do not bank here!
