Good place...sheets to cover my garage toys, blankets to lay on while working on cold garage floor great prices that don't break my pocket

This is my wife's go-to thrift store. There's always a treasure to discover. With lots of furniture to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful

They cheated twice. The first time for one purchase, the money was withdrawn twice, but it was a small amount of almost 7 . Very sad. Didn't look right away, found it the next day. Be vigilant when paying for purchases and pay attention to the manipulation of cashiers.

It's okay but definitely not what it used to be. The Quality of merchandise has declined pretty significantly and the showcase is a complete bust that very rarely gets any new stuff. I know they got into the EBay auctions and will claim it's only a small portion but something is going on for inventory at the store to drop off so drastically.

old lady with poorly bleached hair said she'd hold all the showcase things I had decided to get. I took pictures of all of it before giving it to her, unbeknownst to her. I waited to see if she'd give all of the things I picked out back to me to buy. Long story short, she didn't, she "put them back" and then wanted to fk around and say "oh, did you have a bracelet like this? Or this?" She assumed I just forgot what I had picked. I got a very small amount of what I initially chose. If I would have gotten all of it, her intent wouldn't be shown because I wouldn't have any damage done to me. Long story short, this broad thinks she's covered because she "buys" the things she steals. Theft by deception is still theft. Stealing from your employer is embezzlement. And doing both of them to a charity makes it even worse.

i like their selection for knick knacks but i have the same sentiment, they’re fairly overpriced.

The clothes were disappointing/I thrift shop a lot as a senior and enjoy it. But. Lot of the clothes they had were much too worn to even consider-and some were dirtyI also heard a youngish women addressing another employee very snakily-in telling her what to do.Then. Went to the restroom or attempted to-it was filthy and each stall had a ton of paper on the floor and the wastebasket was over flowing but the johns were nasty.Went out and told The manager how bad they were and "Miss Rock" I was told her name was-just said she knew and kept telling corporate and that I should call them. She just did not care!I will not go back to that store and I will report her to corporate-but shoppers beware-much nicer stores around than this one!!I have always found Goideill to have nice employees and usually better stores-will stick to them

Cashiers were rude and trying to close the store 15 minutes early. They even blocked off the fitting rooms before closing. I put down the items I was planning on purchasing because they weren’t worth the prices for the customer service given.

overall pretty good. i've gotten some great items here. mostly reasonably priced; designer items are priced higher and many are kept at/behind the counter. fitting rooms are available. they offer 50% off the entire store on the last tuesday of every month- definitely get there early and grab a cart if you can find one.ONE critique: i would love if the clothes were sorted by size. currently (as of march 6, 2023) they are not sorted by size.

In an attempt to price out resellers and extract every dollar out of the free items they receive as donations, they’ve also priced out the families who shop at these stores for affordable clothing and kitchenware. Take your business to Ohio thrift, Salvation Army or any mom and pop thrift shops, Volunteers of America are drowning. The GC store is the worst as far as pricing goes, but it’s clearly a move being pushed by the upper management (employees have told me this and even apologized for how insane the pricing has gotten) and has definitely began to spread to all of the other locations I’ve visited.

Used to be an amazing store until they began pricing everything 3 to 4x what they used to. I used to choose VOA over Ohio thrift and now I’ve stopped shopping with VOA or recommending them to others due to this.

First off $25 for some of the pants here, no thank you, this is my only complaint. Now for the rest of the store, I absolutely love coming here, mostly all the workers have smiles when I come in.

I live out of town, but try to visit this thrift store any time I am in town. Unlike some other stores, this VOA location has a huge selection of men's clothing. I do like how some of the "better" brands are separated out, which makes shopping easier. This store is well-organized, clean, and I find the prices to be lower than other thrift stores and an amazing value overall. A few of my favorite areas: coats & outerwear (I've found amazing coats for a few $), housewares/electronics (I wish it was easier to test the amazing finds), and the men's suits (such a treasure trove for interview/funeral/wedding attire).

Left my purse in the cart and by the time I immediately returned into the store I witnessed a store employee coming out of the bathroom with my purse. Upon confrontation the store manager refused to acknowledge the employee had anything to do with $180 cash missing from my purse.
