I just had the most outstanding customer service experience with Freddie at Ace. He helped me get a box from the post office even though it was closed and looked up a few different items that I was seeking. He made helpful suggestions and generally very professional, super friendly and helpful. That’s why we love Ace.

Went to the store to simply look for batteries, approached a group of employees discussing something at 8 o’clock with no customers except me. As they obviously seemed annoyed I asked one to look if they could find an item I couldn’t. Blatantly ignored me. And didn’t even point out the batteries just told me “over there” as I work at Best Buy I would have been fired on the spot. Never am I coming to ace hardware again.

This place is useless. Other than going here to get my LP tanks filled and to use the post office, they are overpriced and rarely have anything in stock that I need. And mind you, I’m not looking for unusual stuff. It is basic electrical, hardware, and tool items that Ace Hardware stores should have.

We had a house key made, the staff was not friendly at all. It made us feel awkward interrupting the guy dusting the grills. The check out guy was not any better.
