Al Couch Super Market is a friendly, small-town neighborhood grocery store with a nostalgic feeling similar to the old stores of the 80s and early 90s. It is a local gem and a great "go to" store. They have a good selection of most of the stuff you're looking for, including food, candy, and unique items like mystery "grab bags" and Amish chocolate that is to die for. The store features an excellent meat counter and a great deli with fresh produce and meat. Their sandwiches and macaroni or potato salad are pretty good and well worth the money. In Autumn, they offer fresh apple cider slushies that come highly recommended. The staff is kind, friendly, and professional, with knowledgeable help available for horticulture and planting. While the store is generally excellent, customers should be specific at the deli counter regarding slicer cleaning for allergies or preferences. It is a place many plan to return to regularly.
