I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with American Freight. They gave me the wrong size box spring, even though I called the store three times trying to confirm the order. No one could give me a clear answer about whether all my furniture was ready. Because of health issues and because my husband was leaving town for more than 15 days, I drove 45 minutes to the store just to make sure everything was truly ready for pickup on Saturday. They told me it was.
This morning my husband went to pick everything up. When we got home and set it up, we discovered the box spring was the wrong size. I called the store and was told the manager would call me back — he never did. After waiting, I called again and finally reached the manager. He was rude, unprofessional, dismissive, and even hung up on me. He told me the only way to get the correct size was to personally bring the wrong one back, even after I explained clearly that I physically cannot do that.
This is unacceptable customer service. I went out of my way yesterday to prevent this exact situation, and they still refused to take responsibility. I will never shop here again, and I strongly suggest others avoid this location.

I want to share my experience to help others avoid the same frustration.
I recently purchased furniture that was clearly marked as “floor models.” The salesman confirmed that we were buying the items as displayed — which normally means already assembled. Instead, when the delivery arrived, we received a pile of boxes, nothing built, and no indication that we needed to assemble everything ourselves.
When I called the manager for clarification, I was told there were “signs all over the store” saying they don’t assemble furniture. However, the receipt literally says floor model, which is misleading. A floor model means it’s already built and displayed, not unopened boxes.
This business model is very deceptive and extremely confusing for customers. They rely on technicalities instead of transparency. To make matters worse, the delivery service is handled through a separate company — and while that delivery company is excellent, they charge extra if you want assembly. That should’ve been clearly explained upfront, not discovered after the fact.
If you want furniture that comes assembled, delivered correctly, and without hidden surprises, I strongly recommend going to Ashley Furniture or Big Sandy’s. They are straightforward, trustworthy, and the furniture arrives the way you expect it to.
Based on my experience, this store is not honest about what you’re actually buying. The process is misleading, and customers deserve better.

Fast pick up manoeuvrability is very tight space not much space for 53 foot trailer none only for 1 truck 2 if first truck parks at middle dock and second truck goes to 3rd dock very tight spot.

Not a good experience with them. First day bought queen bedroom set. Dinner table set and sectional sofa set. Next day we thought we need king size bed. Requested for exchange. Refused and said boss is not here he will be back on Tuesday. As well materiss was not in high quality but charged much money. I will not refer to purchase there.
