Don't bother going in or calling if you need help. All they can do is tell you to call the call center for everything. I honestly don't understand why they pay to keep this place open.
Trouble with your account? Call fraud. Credit card? Call their credit card department. Trouble with your password or app? Call the online banking department.
Spoiler alert: these phone calls lead to a call center overseas where they can barely understand you, let alone the issues with your banking.
On top of it all, people write checks and cash them electronically and you report it? Don't expect it to stop.
Fifth Third used to be a pretty solid bank, but at this point, the only thing keeping me banking with them at all is the damage it would cause to my credit score to close the credit cards I have with them. But I definitely keep the bulk of my money in a safer bank with a higher interest payout.

Called for an appointment, then went to this branch to discuss CD Rates. Spoke with Shantil Martin. She was extremely helpful & professional.

The worst bank I have ever been to. I truly do not know how a bank can be ran so poorly. I waited for 30 mins at the drive through window after having to ring the bell 3 times each time getting a new worker and reminding them what I was needing. ALL I NEEDED WAS A RECIPT FROM A DEPOSIT . Once I got my receipt the time stamp was from 15 mins prior. So I had just been sitting for what. I have tried to keep my grace with this bank but they are so bad. Not to mention they have lost night deposits and then miraculously “found” them weeks later. Taking zero accountability for there mishaps. I’m not saying fifth third as a whole is bad but this branch is truly an embarrassment. Do better.

We refinanced our home just recently with Fifth Third. I've always had a welcoming experience, until now. This complaint is on the employee named Grant. We fully trusted Grant with all the information we provided him with. Grant tells me that because I had such a good credit score of over 800, that I was able to get 2.99% on our loan. I was very pleased. Rates went down further, so I called Grant to see if I could get a lower rate. Grant informed me that 2.99% was the lowest that Fifth Third offered. Still pleased with it. After we closed, we received a letter from Fifth Third stating all of our information about the loan. It turned out that we got 3.99% instead of 2.99%. I called Grant. He wasn't there, but the other lady there was shocked that Grant offered us 2.99%. She said, I don't know why he would say that because the lowest rate we offer is 3.99%. Grant can't seem to remember any of it. Now I'm concerned. Since he lied to us. what else is he capable of doing? Concerned about all of my information that we put in his hands. Honesty is the best policy. Go with someone you can fully trust.

Went in because of identity theft and a "hurry up and pay or go to jail" scam call. Teller and Manager were helpful and understanding. I'd not bank here because of the recent headlines exposing the bigotry based on skin color attributed to the company over car loans, but these two women were friendly, helpful and professional.
