It seems like every time I return to this place it gets worse and worse. It’s almost like no one is running the store. There’s 50 employees running around aimlessly yet shelves aren’t stocked and they’re not asking anyone if they need help. I think the Walmart across the street is rubbing off on them.smh

10:00 am 2/23/25, was in the paint department for 20 mins I waved at the people at the service desk and asked for some help I needed a bucket of paint and I have a back injury so I wasn’t able to pick it up, they seemingly ignored me after another 5 mins of waiting while the employees chatted amongst themself nobody asking if they could help with something or telling me they where calling somebody ,nothing. this is unacceptable behavior will be canceling my depot business account, will shop Menards from now on …. Do better

Homedepot.com order was placed and $2,400 Honda generator was not received. They told me it was delivered around 8:45pm, no one requested a signature or rang the doorbell. What’s worse is the picture taken of what they say is my home. Can’t even make out the picture, customer care also told me they could not accept a picture of my actual home as proof that the generator was NOT delivered to my home. I have spent thousands of dollars with them, I have been hung up on called a liar and not one person has been willing to allow me to speak with a supervisor. Please think twice before ordering on homedepot.com, you cannot get support on issues you have, they are rude, again I’ve been hung up on and told they refuse to reverse the charge regardless of what path I take for resolution. See the attached picture of what they say is my home. I thought Home Depot was a great company, Unfortunately that is not the case. Much more to come.

Sunday I reserve a carpet cleaner for Tuesday morning 7 PM pay my $50 deposit. I come in to pick it up today. The guy says oh I have your upholstery cleaner, all ready I told him no I reserved a carpet cleaner not an upholstery cleaner. Well, I’m gonna have to cancel your reservation. He says it takes 4 to 5 business days to refund your $50. I don’t see how come he couldn’t just switch out the machine and keep the same reservation. Really sucks.

I contacted customer service as my Christmas Tree did not come with a remote as it was described, I was instructed per customer service to call the store and ask if they have a spare remote while they held, as that’s their first and most quick attempt at a fix for this issue. I called the store, the phone rang and was put on hold a couple of times, I patiently waited as I figured they were busy (I did not want to drive 40-45 minutes to the closest store if there was no guarantee of a remote) and finally a lady picked up the phone and very rudely stated “we are busy assisting other customers right now. I mean is there a message I can take for someone to call you back later?” And simply, (as someone who’s worked customer service for years) all that needed to be done/ said was “I’m sorry, we are very busy right now, would you be able to call back later or me take a message of your information when things slow down to be called back?” In a much more.. polite tone. I’m not one to complain, I know customer service is stressful, especially during the holidays, but that does not take away from the fact of providing the best customer service possible while working. I just hung up to give her the time and space to focus on the customers in front of her.

Will not be going back to this location. Me and my husband went to order a dishwasher yesterday and NO ONE ever acknowledged to help us. There was 4 associates sitting around a table and never bothered to get up and help. My husband asked them about a dishwasher and one lady just pointed to a $398 one and said that’s what we have in store the rest will have to be ordered. Never got out of her seat, just pointed. We left empty handed and are ordering ourselves online. Not giving them our business.
