Jim's Tire & Auto was extremely friendly and staff was very happy to explain the whole process in detail. Allen was busy with many another client's, he took the time to get the exact tires I was looking for (other companies in town were unable to find). There was no hidden fees or surprise expenses at all ! They were able to get me scheduled immediately and out the door within a few hours!! I'm extremely thankful to have been referred to Jim's Tire & Auto. Very trustworthy mechanics and staff are great !! The pricing was even greater and Jim's Tire & Auto saved me several hundred compared to other local companies!! Thank you guy's for being such a honest trustworthy company!!! Looking forward to doing much more business with you guys !!!

I took my truck there today for tire rotation and balance. I have large tires, 10.50x31’s, and they did an excellent job. Let’s just say I am a happy customer. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

On July 22nd, I entrusted my vehicle to Jim's Auto for maintenance, I had just purchased the car and got tags just days prior to taking it to this auto shop. The car has not been driven and was kept in a garage until the day I dropped it off. Unfortunately, when I returned to collect my vehicle on July 25th, I was shocked to discover significant scratches and dents that were not present before my visit. This damage was alarming, especially considering I just bought the car and it has not been driven.
Upon confronting the owner, Alan, I was met with a lack of professionalism that I did not expect. He was not only inconsistent in addressing my concerns but also responded in a rude manner. Instead of assisting me with the situation, Alan dismissed my claims, despite my clear evidence of photographs that showed my car's condition prior to its stay at the garage.
the overall customer service experience was far from satisfactory. I felt disregarded and unsupported during a troubling situation. It was disappointing to witness how a business that is meant to care for customers and their vehicles could respond so poorly. My encounter at Jim's Auto has left a lasting negative impression, and I cannot recommend their services given my unfortunate experience.

I’ve never gone to a tire shop and been treated this well and respectfully. I needed a quick screw removal and tire patch today and they were quick, painless, and very cost efficient. Whenever I’m in Hamilton for my tire needs, I’ll always come here. I’ll definitely be telling my friends.

I own a 2014 Dodge Caravan. I recommend Jim’s Tire to anyone that needs work done on a vehicle! They are upfront, honest, and trustworthy. Which is very hard to find nowadays. I don’t go anywhere else.

Brett and Alan at Jim’s auto are great— they repair what is necessary and tell you when you don’t need to change (e.g., “you don’t need new shocks or struts”). At half the price of a dealership. How many times have you said “I wish I could find an auto repair shop that I can trust “? Well, Jim’s auto on Clinton Drive in Hamilton, just past Fairfield North of Jungle Jim’s, is that place. Highly recommended .

After having the water pump and timing chain replaced on my 2013 Ford Explorer at a local dealership, I began experiencing issues within just two days. I brought the vehicle back, and they handed me a long list of supposed problems, which I agreed to have fixed. However, less than 300 miles later, the engine seized. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership late Friday afternoon, and after nearly a week of silence, I was told it was all an “unfortunate coincidence” and not their responsibility. Their solution? A new engine replacement for around $10,000.
I asked for an explanation and was told they had cut open the oil filter and found it full of metal shavings. They offered to investigate further—but only at my expense.
Frustrated, I turned to Jim’s Tire and Auto on the recommendation of two trusted friends. That’s when everything changed.
Bret and Allen treated the situation with professionalism and integrity. They approached my Explorer as if they had been the ones to work on it from the start. They meticulously reviewed every detail—receipts, parts lists, error codes, on-board diagnostics, and the engine itself. Through their forensic approach, they uncovered the actual cause of the failure, which contradicted the dealership’s claims.
They not only explained their findings clearly, but also supported me in addressing the issue with the dealership. They even opened up their shop to allow the dealership's inspectors to review the vehicle firsthand.
Bret and Allen exemplify what honest, expert automotive care should look like. From now on, I won’t trust my vehicles to anyone else, and I’ll be recommending Jim’s Tire and Auto to everyone I know.

What an amazing company! They went above and beyond when changing out my tire they filled the rest up with air as well! They even topped off my oil and wiper fluid.
