“I hosted my wedding reception at Mill Race and would highly recommend it to anyone. Mike who manages the event area was amazing about answering questions promptly from the time we started talking with him about a year prior to the wedding up until right before. The food was great for the cost, I recommend the brisket with Mac and cheese. Additionally, all the staff present the day of the event were amazing and I felt confident the entire night that our guests were being taken care of.
Mill Race certainly can’t provide the flexibility of some larger wedding venues but if you are willing to work with what they have you will not be disappointed. The staff are all amazing and the space is beautiful. Since the wedding we have received many genuine compliments about how much guests enjoyed themselves and I attribute most of that enjoyment to the lovely staff at Mill Race.”

“We had a beautiful day for brunch on the patio. Our server was so kind and helpful. ThShrimp and grits was creamy with just the right amount of spice. The seasonal French Toast with mango and pecan was sweet without being too sweet! I didn't even need the syrup! The loaded breakfast tots were fried perfectly and all of the toppings blended well without making the tots soggy. I highly recommend Cozy's Cafe and Pub for brunch. I also recommend making a reservation as it was busy!”

“What a fantastic place! This property is so pretty!! The courtyard is full of flowers, trees, and places to sit by a fire. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with soaps, dishes, towels, etc. We went to the front desk to get sheets for the pull-out couch, and the people at the front desk were fast to get them and were so kind. Breakfast was delicious, fully stocked with all kinds of food. They have fountain drinks and water offered 24/7 for guests to have as well. Their little shop to buy anything you may have forgotten had a few cool things but was a bit pricey. The pool was clean and well-maintained! The only “bad” thing that happened was very loud and disrespectful kids that were roomed next to us. There was some sort of basketball thing with kids from Montreal, and they were rowdy. Thankfully, the front desk dealt with them, and we had no further issues!! The hotel staff were very apologetic about it even though it wasn’t their fault, and I made sure to let them know I didn’t blame them at all! Overall, we had a blast at this hotel. I’m very thankful we were able to find it, and it was reasonably priced! It was perfect for our weekend trip to go to Kings Island and the Newport Aquarium (both are less than a half-hour drive from the hotel). We will be back!!!”
“This hotel is very nice, I stayed here for 3 days on a team trip. It is located in a very nice area with many stores close-by towards the highway; but in the opposite direction there is beautiful green parks and such. The hotel looked amazing and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Pillows were slightly to soft and not stiff enough. You have to pay for breakfast, the options and amazing and very tasty.”
