If u like old architecture this building is a must see. All chocolate is made in house, that's awesome. The humongous peanut butter cup was creamy and the best ever!

Love this place! Tons of cute chocolate for any occasion! Nice vintage candy and a variety of chocolates and other sweets! The woman working was an absolute delight who obviously loves what she does! In addition, they have chocolate molds and cookie cutters galore! Stop in, you’ll find something for everyone!!

Don't let the deceiving looks of the exterior keep you away. Some of the best chocolates in the area with a large variety plus other miscellaneous candy. Dark chocolate covered oreos are my favorite

Hartville chocolate factory has a large variety of all kinds of candy, even the candy I used to find at the candy store in the 1970s. They have delicious homemade chocolates. They also sell bulk chocolate wafers so you can make your own.

You have to buy the chocolate covered Oreos. They are heavenly. My other favorite is the lemon chocolate covered almonds. ?They have a huge selection of chocolates, chocolate covered items, truffles, and nuts. I highly recommend for your chocolate fixings.

My husband is a truck driver and almost always out of town for weeks at a time. He got in early on Valentine's Day, after driving all through the night, and drove to the Hartville Chocolate Factory to pick me up some strawberries for Valentine's Day as a surprise (we live almost an hour away). He got there a little before 8 to find out they don't open until 10. Tired and slightly frustrated, he decided to wait there until they opened at 10. He goes in at 10 to purchase some strawberries so he could bring them home and go to sleep, only to be told that he needed to call ahead to place an order on them and that they didn't have any available on hand to purchase. (Even though when you place an order, you don't pay until you're in person to pick up regardless. And I'm not saying that placing orders are a bad thing, BUT they should have some available on hand for walk-in purchases for cases like this). And he said there was a line of people there with him to purchase as well and they were also turned away. So he placed an order while there to pick up in the afternoon only to never receive a call. So to say we're frustrated with this business is an understatement. I understand they were busy on arguably their biggest sales day, and I'm sure my exhausted and frustrated husband was likely not so easy to work with after everything (i apologize if he was not), but they should have anticipated for walk-in sales as well especially when no one's buying the berries until they show up anyways. He was not aware that orders were required to be placed prior to purchase for strawberries so it resulted in this happening. He doesn't follow a facebook page to see those requirements were needed. So, buyer beware, make sure you call first for your berries, so MAYBE, HOPEFULLY they call you back to go buy them.

Its a lovely locally owned business. The buckeyes are the best and the chocolate covered strawberries are a Valentine's Day tradition!

Great store, delicious candies, reasonable prices, big selection, and very nice owner. Going here is now to be part of our annual tradition for our family.
