“A pair of sisters I knew from high school worked here for many years. I wasn't a patron until I was in the market for a time piece to use while in the water teaching. Since then? I have owned a total of 5 of the same style Dakota brand wristwatch. I just liked the look, weight, and deep water functionality - no mind to the fact that it is a rolex knock-off.
Is the watch itself absolutely perfect? Abdolutely not. There is a design flaw that results in the band detaching from the face. Each. Consecutive. One. Owned. Has encountered the same issue. But! They still get the highest praise and full marks because not only will they affably repair the issue for me pro bono but they've also tried to teach me how to remedy the issue and provided me with a handful of replacement parts too! I dont have the requisite dexterity nor tools though, so you're stuck with seeing my mug every now and again to get my fix.
Im in love with my green watch face I have now. In the past I had 2 silver, 1 black and 1 blue as well. DAKOTA DIVER SPIDER. Swim instructor tested and heartily approved! It can take a fair amount of banging on the sides of a pool and survive. And they have 1 yr manufacturers warranty.”
