I have rented quite a few rental cars in my life and this place was BY FAR THE WORST!! Before you even go inside the building, the outside is very unkept and rundown. Then, when you walk inside, the pungent smell hits you in the face. They must have animals or something in there with stains all over the carpet trash everywhere. It looks like the floor hasn’t been swept in a year. Then, when they tried to give me my car, it wasn’t even cleaned from the last people that used it. I went and told the lady that it was not clean so when I returned it dirty, I didn’t want to get in trouble so she tried to find me another one. She said she was just filling in at this office for the day we looked at the other two that were there, and one was even worse than the first one and the other one was a little bit better. (Still NOT CLEANED!!!) Also, the van stunk really bad. So I opened up that Air freshener right away !! She allowed me to take the cleanest of the three after she spoke with the owner a few times so ended up taking much longer than it should have and I was late getting to where I needed to be. Then when it came to return the vehicle, I had it scheduled to be returned at 11:30 and when I got there, nobody was there. There was a sign in the door saying estimated time for them to be back at 11:45. So again, made us late to where we needed to go. I guess I don’t understand why the worker would leave knowing they have a scheduled 1130 return. I will never rent from this place again!!!! It’s FILTHY and they take care of The office just like they take care of their cars!!! BUT…. the Lady who helped me (doesn’t normally work there) the first day was GREAT!!!! She gets 5 stars. The place of business gets zero stars ! Evidently, the owner and the lady who normally works here both live in Columbus And should probably start caring more about their business. Very disappointed ☹️

My car was 6 hrs late after I reserved it months in advance Also was charged 2 times for the same vehicle.Worst rental experience ever.

Hands down the worst car rental experience I've ever had. Turo over everything. Genuinely surreal customer service with absurd fees on every form of assistance you could require in an emergency. Complete waste of money.

Rick is by far the best employee hands down he deserves a raise. Let me start by saying he made the whole process so easy within 10 minutes we already had a car in hand ready for our trip. He goes above and beyond to be kind and respectful to all and seeing his calendar with his puppies made my day. Thank you Rick for being amazing

The office was filthy and I almost gagged walking in. It smelled strongly of urine as they clearly let their dogs go to the bathroom inside the office. The floors were stained and had trash all over. The car wasn’t outright dirty, but it wasn’t clean either. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

I have car reservation for 3 pm today. Tried to call to say I would be here by 4. No one answering. Got here 415 and they tell me no car for me and I am supposed to be on rode to NC in 2 hours. They did not even call to let me know

Did not have reserved vehicle available or anything similar. They were unable to refund reservation. Hassle to deal with.

I reserved a vehicle online in the budget website to be picked up at 9am the following day. As I was getting ready to leave the house they called to tell me they didn’t have the vehicle for me. I explained that I needed it by 10am as I had to attend an event until 3pm and they closed at 1pm. They told me they wouldn’t have it by then so in a panic I went to enterprise and got a car. There was no way to get ahold of Budget and speak with someone. So they called me at 12pm and said they had a car for me. I told them it was too late and since they didn’t have a car when they promised to please cancel and refund me. They said they would. Well lo and behold they charged my card anyway. So I’m out the $224 dollars. What a crappy way to do business. I will avoid this business like the plague in the future

Worst experience EVER. I reserved a minivan for vacation from the budget in Heath, Ohio. I drove 40min from my home to get the minivan only to be turned down bc I didn’t have a major credit card. Cash or bank debit card are not accepted but that was not clearly indicated upon booking. The guy at the counter was completely awkward and offered no assistance. Called enterprise from the parking lot and was rented a minivan with my horrible debt card. Thanks for wasting 2hrs of my day budget.. kudos

Did everything online paid and got everything set up got there and after returning was charged the flat out wrong amount no one was of assistance disputed the amount and the same day after they returned my 250 dollar deposit decide I’m going to owe 450 for a cleaning fee called customer services was told they charged the incorrect amount and since I already disputed it not to worry about it and the 450 dollar cleaning fee wasn’t in the file either another few weeks after I get the 450 dollar charge would not recommend doing business here

Completely unprofessional and actually down right full of himself. Is his name Dirk? Anyway the Better Buisness Bureau was contacted and now there will be an investigation... Reservation and follow up check in was completed.. Show up to pick up vehicle and reservation and contract was both breached by Budget of Heath.... Hopefully this review detours others of using even thinking of using this establishment...

We rented a car at Budget for our DC trip. We were unaware they were off site, we had to take a shuttle to get the car. We got in the rented car and the smoke odor was horrible. We were visiting our new grandson and had to be somewhere on time so we could not do anything about the smoke odor situation right then. We did not use the car until we had to go back to the airport because of the odor. I have contacted Budget SEVERAL times with no response. This is very unprofessional and will not be using them again and telling everyone about this unhealthy situation.
