“I could not be more pleased with the care we received. My dad’s dog had been getting progressively worse and wasn’t eating for nearly three days. On Saturday, I noticed they were open, so I called—and even though they were fully booked, they fit us in. Despite being new patients!
They were so kind and even apologized for the wait, which wasn’t necessary at all since they were doing us a huge favor. They worked within my budget, helped identify the problem, gave him nausea medication, and provided a clear care plan. He ate later that same day.
I am beyond grateful for their compassion, professionalism, and dedication. Highly recommend! ?”
“My 14 year old lab mix Penny quit eating and drinking. She got very bad very quick. I called many places and everyone said it would take four or five days to get her in to get her euthanized. This place worked me in the same day. She probably had hours to live by the time I got there. She was suffering very bad and this place was top notch. Sarah D and Dr. Loveless were extremely compassionate. Very good at what they do. Thank you for making a hard situation better. Great staff. And to sum up how I feel about this place this is probably only the second review I have ever written in my life”

“A friend recommended this clinic for my cat. Dr. Marcum was very friendly and nice, along with the staff. My cat is a jerk and needed sedation (does the worst in vet clinics) and once everything was said and done, took about an 1 1/2 hours. Would have been less but my kitty really liked his sedation and didn't want to get up. The prices were very reasonable and really good communication. Highly recommend!”
“We went for scratching, our dog wouldn't stop.. We do live right by the 16 E by a wooded area..Unfortunately we found out she has lime disease..The ticks were crazy this past summer.. Very nice crew there!”

“Unfortunately we had to make an emergency visit with our sick kitten. They rushed us in despite us not being able to call in advance and promptly assessed him. When they came to us with the option that no one wants to hear, they were so professional and made us feel so comfortable knowing we were making the right decision. They gave us plenty of time with him and made sure he got plenty of snuggles and even some purrs despite him hurting. Dr. McCarty’s bedside manner was perfect and made us not feel rushed nor like we were letting him suffer. I couldn’t recommend a place more for such a hard decision. We feel so much better knowing our little boy Mars is finally free of pain ❤️”

“We have gone to this vet office for all of our pets for 7 years. They do a great job with all our pets. Recently our dog began to bleed and her eating pattern changed quickly. They put her in for surgery the very same day we called. I found this amazing. Additionally, they always work with you on pricing- as in being honest about what's necessary and what you are comfortable with. In this case, the vet believed she had mouth cancer. He did not talk us into a biopsy because he said whether it was cancer or benign, didnt change the prognosis in our dogs case. So no need to charge us for an unnecessary test. They have done this type of thing before with the pets.”
“We have been taking our pets to Dr Wagner for over 15 years. He and his staff have shown the highest level of professionalism and compassion for our animals. When our giant dog Zeus had to be put down and we couldn’t get him to the clinic, Dr Wagner came out and went through all our options before peacefully put him to sleep. We love this clinic and can’t wait to bring our new puppy to meet Dr Wagner!”

UPDATE:
Just wanted to give a shout out to Doctors Poorman and Henning and the staff that were there on 1/31/2026 (Jessica, Jessica, and, I'm sorry, but I didn't get the other vet techs name). They are so helpful and willing to answer questions and concerns with pet parents. They did a spay and you can hardly tell she had surgery. Today was booster shots for vaccines and the staff are so kind and helpful. Just wanted to say thank you!!”

“I've taken my cats to LCHS to be neutered/spayed. Both of my cats that were done by Dr.Laing came home with such small wounds, and the stitches on my female were absolutely fantastic. She came home looking like nothing had happened to her other than some hair shaved off. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this surgeon.”
