I'm a Home Depot guy, the kids workshop they have on Saturdays once a month is pretty cool... My dude loves it...

Terrible policies. They removed all registers and force you to self check out. Then because of theft, they treat every customer as a criminal. You can’t get wire or power tools without an employee escorting the material to the register that you now have to operate.Way to go. Treat your customers like criminals and make them do the work to check out on top of that. Brilliant

The staff here was rude. Probably won’t be visiting this location again.

By far the worst home depot I've ever been to. Completely incompetent. I usually go to the pro area and man they never have a forklift driver. The one dude just seems like he's stoned. I try to avoid that place as much as possible.

Staff is helpful, would always leave what they are doing to help you find what you need, even if it is 5-6 lanes apart.

Nobody ever answers the phone here. Bought a door they were supposed to also install, and they keep you completely in the dark on the whole process. You'll have to actually show up in person to get any answers.

The past two times we went to purchase paint there were no employees to fill out orders. We had to go to another store to purchase our paint. To bad they are losing business.

We went through Home Depot for a kitchen renovation. Spending 22k for a decent renovation. In the last 6 weeks we have received 4 total visits from a contractor. Meaning our house/kitchen has had zero order for a significant period. We’ve asked 10x for communication from Mark and Justin who were working on this project. We have received next to nothing. In fact, it has been two weeks since Justin, the project supervisor, has responded to our emails. Whenever Justin does respond he tells us it’s Marks job to figure out, yet he is the manager!!!! I emailed him on an MONDAY and by Friday I ask for an update. It is now TWO MONDAYS LATER and I have not received amy updates. Our fridge AND microwave do not fit, Mark and Justin have been made aware of this issue about 3.5 weeks ago. We have heard NOTHING from them regarding a fix. If new parts need to be ordered that will take another 2 weeks at minimum- so these parts SHOULD HAVE BEEN ORDERED WHEN THE ISSUE WAS BROUGHT UP. This is THE WORST experience I have ever had with such a large company, ever. I plan to take this review on every single outlet possible. I even warned Justin the manager of doing so, yet he STILL has done nothing to remedy. DO NOT USE HILLIARD HOME DEPOT FOR A KITCHEN RENOVATION. DO NOT. Your house and kitchen will be useless for MONTHS and no one will respond to emails or text messages. Absolutely ridiculous service. I am taking this issue to 10tv on your side and the BBB because that seems to be the only way I will receive any response on my torn apart incomplete kitchen renovation.

Savannah and Shantell were working at the customer service desk when I arrived to pick up an order that wasn't quite ready. They were careful to make sure the order was accurate and even hustled to grab the last few items for me. Both were very helpful and friendly! I've been a loyal home Depot customer for years but this is the best customer experience I have had. Whoever made the decision to put them in customer service, you need a raise as well.

This location is absurd. Went to buy roof shingles and was told they don't carry the brand that was displayed anymore. Ok but why are you displaying it? Whatever. Then went to find a couple cedar boards and couldn't find them so I politely asked the lady at the contractor desk and she literally laughed and said they don't carry cedar for the longest time. I didn't know but she then proceeded to laugh and asked another person how long it's been. His reply was '2 months or so'. She was completely rude and condescending. I've never felt so disrespected and as a representative of a large home remodeling company, I am taking my business elsewhere. I got all I needed from the Lowe's across the street. Good riddance Home Depot!
