Doug... If I could give 0 stars, I would. Where to start: Unprofessional, untimely, and overall rude. We needed a wine refrigerator by a specified date that was given to Doug at the time of our original order. He promised that he would have the delivery in time for our house warming party which was 2-3 weeks from our order date. Because of his verbal commitment that our order would be here in time (& delivered), we cancelled our order for the same appliance with BestBuy, who wasn't going to meet the delivery deadline needed. Well, as you can guess, Doug didn't pull through. Instead of giving us updates on the status of our order the week we needed it, he didn't return phone calls, pointed his finger at the appliance manufacturer, and provided zero solutions/accommodations to remedy the issue at hand. When we finally did get ahold of him, we decided to cancel our order since his promise wasn't upheld. BestBuy has a significantly better warranty program and customer service platform, so we decided to reorder the appliance through them. When informing Doug that we were going to cancel our order, he was upset (probably because he was losing a commission) and said that we would receive a check in the mail for our refund. I politely informed him that we would like a refund to the credit card we originally paid with and he said, "that costs us money, we would prefer not to do that." Well, Doug, that's unfortunately the cost of business when you don't deliver on the commitments you make. A few days later, Doug calls to inform me that the wine refrigerator has arrived and we can still take the order, if desired. I told him that we would pass, due to the negative experience we had with Jack's Appliance and he proceeded to tell me that they would be charged a $500 restocking fee with the manufacturer to send the appliance back. I told him that it wasn't my problem, which he then tried telling me that it would be deducted from my refund. I know, it's almost comical at this point, but keep reading... We never signed a purchase order with Jack's, we didn't even receive a receipt from Jack's for our order, and it was never disclosed throughout multiple conversations that a "restocking fee" would be charged for cancelling a fully refundable order. When informing Doug that we would not be paying the restocking fee for their mishaps, he told me that I would receive a refund check in the mail, less $500 for the restocking fee, and proceeded to hang up before I could get another word out. When I attempted calling back, he didn't answer. Surprise! Haha. If you're looking for subpar service, a grumpy sales associate with no business acumen, the delayed arrival of your order, and a partial refund for never receiving your appliance(s), Jack's Appliance in Hilliard is the place to shop!

This is the second time I've worked with Jack's Appliance in Hilliard. I've been very happy both times. I received good customer service. I really like the company they use to install the appliances. (Dan of All Trades.) I did have a problem, but my salesman, Tom, took care of it and we ended up with what we needed at a good price. I prefer Bosch appliances and I liked the excellent customer service I received from Tom. It will be the first place I shop when I need a new appliance.

I just ordered a wolf cooktop a few weeks ago. I received it within 10 days. The install was scheduled in a timely manner and the installation with Phillip went very well. Both Mike my sales person and Phillip did a fantastic job! I love my new cooktop! I highly recommend Jack’s. I have gotten the cooktop, a double oven, dish washer and a warming drawer and have been very pleased with every purchase and installation. Always professional, always efficient and always knowledgable.

The delivery men were courteous, conscientious and efficient. We appreciate the excellent service. You would not get this service from the big box stores. The salesroom was bright and well organized. The sales people were helpful and not pushy.

Frig replaced on energy conservative program by MORPC. Jack's Appliance contracted to deliver me a new frig and it was delivered a "cheap" Frigidaire model unboxed and it had dents on outside which I contacted them and was informed by their office girl "we have no more of those models and will have to order a new one or give you $75 to instead. I ask for replacement and call that never happen and went into the next year 2018. I called jack's and they acted like no call or order took place and I than contacted the City MORPC office about this. Frig was installed by Jack's people and since having it, drawer guide broke, water line pump on back of it leaking to floor which has to be replaced; "no warranty" expired. I would have been better off keeping my old "side by side" whirlpool that worked fine but was not "energy efficient" according to city. I would never trust or buy from this vendor! Now I am saving to purchase a new frig after 2 years having this one. I owned the one they took away 18 years. (Update* that year found out Fridge was roach infested and exterminating several months. The Freezer doesn't closes tight enough to stop moisture, ice maker connections started leaking 2 years in and botton of fridge cracked). I Gave up a better one to get this junk). Saving to buy a new one myself and larger with capacity

DO NOT.... I repeat DO NOT use this appliance store. What a run around we've gotten. We so wanted to support a small business but what a mistake that was. We furnished our entire kitchen with Thermador appliances from Jacks and we've had problems with all of them. AND they're less than 5 years old. No help from the staff, won't return our calls. Make promises of new appliances then after a 2 year wait, they literally hide from us when we go to the store to inquire about said appliances. Not kidding.... The guy we worked with originally, HIDES from us when we seek him out. Let this be a warning... do not use Jacks Appliances. You're better off with a big box store.

A big box (or worse) experience when I was looking for white glove or at least personal follow up and attention to detail.Supremely disappointed with customer service after sale and before delivery/install. Delays in product aren’t the fault of Jacks, but lack of communication with delivery vs install timing, no follow up or care to ensure items are even scheduled for delivery promptly after it arrives in the warehouse, and poor follow up on issues like ordering the incorrect fridge style.I will absolutely never use this retailer again for my appliance needs. I recommend you look elsewhere too.

We moved here back in the fall of 2021and were building a home. Prior to actually moving back we were here to order appliances for the new build, knowing then that because of all the supply chain issues we had to order soon in hopes of having what we wanted in time for move in. We were looking for appliances, (refrigerator, washer and dryer). All other appliances were provided by the builder. We preferred avoiding the big box stores, so we Googled and found Jack's Appliance. Turned out to be an incredible experience. Nice showroom, super great staff and multiple brands. In late August last year, we ended up ordering a refrigerator and wash and dryer. The sales guy we worked with is Ryan (but they are all great). He was so easy to work with and extremely accommodating. He was very upfront and honest and unparalleled knowledge about the different brands of appliances. The order arrived in February, and they happily held them in their warehouse until we closed on our home in late May. The week before closing we called and two days after closing, they were there to install the appliances.I have been to the other shops as mentioned above, and nothing against them but I can say the customer service at Jack's is easily 2nd to NONE. They are extremely responsive, eager to please the customer and their prices are very fair and were pleasantly surprisingly lower than some of the other places we checked. With that and the absolutely outstanding customer service we experienced, we ended up calling and ordering another microwave because the one we had (which came from the builder) is, to be nice, unsatisfactory. If you are looking for appliances at least check them out. Again, they have many good brands, have a great showroom and as I said, you will NOT beat the customer service! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pleasant appliance shopping experience.

This is a great store in the heart of Hilliard, Ohio. My wife and I tried the big box stores and found the selection was limited. Their staff was knowledgeable and were very helpful. We recommend Jack’s to all our friends.

They told us right after we bought the items that they don't do installation. We found a contractor that then disappeared. Jack's delivered the appliances but has NO ONE that will install them. We used them previously to install ALL of our present appliances in 2011. Be very cautious about their claims of installation on their website.
