I just made a complaint today about some of the Employees at Ulta that is located in Hilliard and the manager whose name Tiffani just contacted me and And she was like I heard that you have a complain and I would like to hear what happened so you can have a better service next time.. As soon as I started talking about the incidents because it’s not one time it’s more than one incident,She cut me off and she said oh I’m sure they had just a bad day. We always get Great reviews about the excellent service that we provide for our customers so it came running to Google to check out the reviews and I saw what an awful service and employees That they have at that location!its same as my concern that they have very rude with a disgusting attitude, unhelpful and I’m not sure how come such employees gets promoted?!!

if you want real help i suggest going to grove city, cashiers did absolutely nothing to try and help me all they say is “sorry” but they don’t even hide the fact they don’t even want to help you in the first place , not even by asking around or even attempting if they can help, oh and by the way trying to find anything here is impossible because they are surprisingly always out of stock… treat people more human like.

I had an unfortunate experience with this salon's that I feel compelled to share. I had scheduled a return appointment with a stylist after having my hair colored by her several months before, My first appointment was canceled the morning of the scheduled day, which was quite inconvenient. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. The real disappointment came the next day when I rushed to the salon after leaving work early to make it on time, only to find out that my hairstylist hadn't returned from her lunch break, and nobody bothered to inform me. (3pm appointment)This lack of communication and consideration for my time was truly frustrating. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, it's basic customer service to notify clients of any changes or delays to their appointments, especially when they've adjusted their schedules to accommodate it.Punctuality and professionalism matter a great deal to me, and this experience fell far short of my expectations. I hope the salon takes this feedback to heart and improves its communication and customer service in the future. It's essential to respect clients' time and ensure a smoother experience for everyone.

One of your associates was following me around the entire time, I thought I was being paranoid at first. So I tested my theory and I was right. I absolutely love make up and I have a lot of it, I spend a lot of money on it every month. I don't shop at Ulta that often due to the fact they don't carry all of the brands of makeup I use. But Ulta carries a primer that I like and thats the reason for my visit. This young lady bothered me to the point that I stopped and just checkout out, she even followed me to the register to see if I put all items onthe counter. At checkout I was asked about the rewards I said I wasn't interested and the cashier insisted on getting me signed up or checking to see if I was a member, which is fine but I was so annoyed by being followed around I just wanted to leave. She did a great job explaining the benefits and I probably came off irritated, but it wasn't due to her. I'm sure you have a loss prevention issue, but that doesn't constitue your customers feeling uncomfortable while shopping. There is a way to make sure customers are made aware and that's by greeting them and asking if they need assistance finding anything. That's a que to me that you recognize I am in your store. Your employees should not be following people around the store, it's unnecessary. Im also not going to ask beauty tips from employees that are not wearing the products you offer. They don't have to be glammed up but atleast show me how to use the products by wearing them.

My sister and I felt like we were being followed around the store by the employees. The same woman came up to us on three different occasions and seemed annoyed that we kept telling her that we didn’t need help. We were approached by at least two other employees. Once we got up to the register and started looking at the travel items, the same woman that had approached us three times hopped behind a register and said that she could ring us out. Once she was done ringing us out, she then called over her walkie to let everyone else know that we had made our purchases and would be leaving… right in front of us. We weren’t being disruptive and we weren’t stealing. This whole experience has made this diamond member re-think shopping with Ulta at all.

Stopped in to pick up a couple specific items. One of the MAC specialists helped me find exactly what I was looking for and a couple other new items as well. She was very friendly and kind. The cashier was wonderful and gave some makeup recommendations.

No overwhelming sales pressure.Today was a whole new experience at ultra beauty. Last time, I must have said under my breath, I'm never coming back but here we are.

Very disappointed. I went to Ulta yesterday thinking I was paying for a makeup lesson for $30... The person that helped me was professional and nice but the ONLY service she provided was showing me what color is right for me... THAT'S IT. She dabbed 3 colors on my wrist and told which color was good for my tone. That's it! I paid $30 for someone to tell me this color looks good on you. Took a whole of 10 mins. She didn't even do a half face makeup tutorial or show me anything about how to apply the makeup like concealer or massacre etc...I thought I was paying for a lesson. Then I go to the register to pay for all my items and pay the $30 for the "lesson" and the cashier says and I quote "If you come in on the weekends anyone can help you find the right makeup, that way you don't have to pay for it" My mind is BLOWN... because she still charged me right now for something I can get for free... Thank goodness I don't like causing a scene in public....but they definitely broke any trust I had at this location. I never experience this at Sephora. I'll just go back taking my business there.

“Happy Returns” are tragically sad at this Ulta location, due to appalling customer service.---“Happy Returns” is a system marketed as “the most delightful way to return items” that “allows shoppers to easily return items without printing or packaging and have refunds or exchanges initiated immediately”. They have a wide network of return locations, Ulta being one of them.Upon walking into the store, I was directed to the cashier in order to initiate the return process. After a brief glance, the lady quickly informed me that the items I was returning (a few shirts and pants) were too large to fit inside the plastic bag they use for shipping and therefore they would not be able to help me any further. This hasty decision seemed strange to me; yes, I had several items, but nothing so huge that any shipping carrier worth its salt couldn’t handle. I asked to see the bag. It was clear that the items I had fit in there. The lady roughly placed some of my items into the bag, carelessly, without any effort to optimize space and said “see, they won’t fit”. I offered to place the items inside myself, assuring her I could make them fit. Begrudgingly the lady accepted. When it became obvious that the items I had were going to fit, the lady called another girl for backup and they proceeded to tell me that even if their bag was big enough to hold my items, they could not accept it because it was too big to be placed in their “box”. Puzzled, I asked to see the box. It was a bin where they placed all the Happy Returns orders awaiting pick up, the bin was big enough to fit at least three times the number of items I had, but since it was partially full with previous orders, they didn’t deem there was enough space left for mine. Apparently if you want to use this return service nobody can return anything before you or else you are out of luck. The cherry on the cake was the moment when I was told Ulta’s policy mandated that all return bags had to be “flat” to be accepted. How can a bag be flat if it has items inside?? I asked them “what do you mean the bag has to be flat?” and, after repeating several times “it means that it has to be flat, flat”, one of the ladies told me: “flat significa plano, que la bolsa tiene que estar plana, aplastada” while gesturing with her hands... she was telling me the literal meaning of “flat” in Spanish and continued talking to me in Spanish for a while as if I was unable to communicate properly in English. I am Hispanic, I do look brown and have an accent when I speak, but I have lived in this country for almost 20 years (at a point working as an interpreter) and basic English words, like “flat”, are pretty familiar to me...At this point the girls were getting visibly annoyed with my presence and insistence in doing the transaction. They said I had to cancel the return and make arrangements to obtain multiple return codes instead, so that they could split my items into different bags. They were not concerned by the time and trouble that would imply and made no attempt to find solutions, their only focus was finding reasons why they should not accept the return. I gave up and left. There was another return location nearby. It took 3 minutes and a couple scans for the competent clerk in there to complete the transaction. There were no problems, no issues with boxes or flatness, no language lessons. If you value your time and the courtesy of the people you deal with, I highly recommend you do NOT go to this Ulta location, at least not for “Happy Returns”.

I had an appointment with Jodi that according to it was going to last approximately 2 and a half hours. I arrived at the place around 10:30 am and I left almost at 3 in the afternoon. The time for my appointment ran out because another person arrived and put another estista to finish with my hair and when she was putting the chemical on my hair another person helped her on one side and now on one side the streaks are more visible than on the other I am dissatisfied with the work, the way they treated me etc, finally and I decided to do something to my hair and I'm disappointed and sorry because my hair looks damaged. I think the chemical was left on my hair for a long time because Jodi didn't have time to do it herself. I was in this place for more than 4 hours, between 3 people did my hair and I ran out to get to work on time, the truth is very dissatisfied And I want to go back to have my hair fixed because it looks damaged. I paid for something that I thought was so that it wouldn't get damaged, but I don't know if they put it on me and to have it painted on both sides equally, but I'm sure I have to pay more money and unfortunately I still haven't had time to go

A little annoyed with my experience at this Ulta location today. I had a few things I needed and once I grabbed them I started browsing around to see if anything else caught my attention. Two associates, Victoria and another gal with orange and black hair, assisted me by answering my questions and also making product recommendations. They were great and this review would be 5 stars if they were the only employees involved in my visit. My annoyance came from the fact that I felt I was being followed by one of the other staff members. Her name starts with an N and she has black hair, I will keep her identity at that. She originally greeted me while I was browsing and walked away which was fine. Then after that, it felt like she was around every corner I turned. In the back of the prestige skincare, then in haircare, and while I was making my way toward the registers, she was right there again. She ended up being my cashier as well, and was pretty short with me when I asked a question about the credit card machine I paid on. I asked her to remove two items from my checkout because I didn’t realize I’d picked up as much as I did and she seemed irritated with me. If there were a bunch of customers behind me, I could understand. But there was one other person left in line, so I’m not sure what the rush was. Maybe this behavior annoyed me extra because I had already felt I was being watched for no reason, not sure. But maybe a touch more tact when dealing with customers would’ve helped here. It is very disheartening to feel like you’re being followed and silently accused of theft when you’re not doing anything wrong.
