These girls are amazing. They've assisted me in finding my latest family member, Boomer, the Super Heeler, whom I've come to love dearly. They've directed us in getting every stray cat I could get my hands on spayed or neutered. Thank you all so much! Truly a work of heart.

Super friendly staff onsite, everyone that works here is very caring toward the animals and genuinely want to help find these pets their forever homes. Very helpful and responsive in all communications and process. Hoping all goes while with our foster pup so we can adopt :]

Got a couple of animals here. 2 cats and a dog. They take care of you and the animals. You get the the near term vet care as well (shots) and any incomplete spay/neuter due to the animals' age.Nothing really crazy or abnormal issues generally, although I did see one

If you ever contact this place about cats on the loose. Don't! Even a state law doesn't exist in Highland County. Negative 5 star!!!!!

Got my precious Bama (strawberry short cake) there and she has been just what we needed after losing our dog! She is spoiled rotten. She gets whatever toy she wants sleep between my husband and i in our bed. She is a princess and she knows it. Thank you to the human society! We love her to pieces!

I am sharing my feelings about this shelter denying a friend of mine adoption of a dog because she did not have a fenced -in yard. As the owner of 3 large dogs, a fenced -in yard is not a big deal if you walk your dog and play with them outside, take them to dog parks, etc. The love and caring are what is important. And this person is so devastated by not getting this dog. It's inhumane for the person as well as the dog. You people talk a good game about wanting to get the animals a good home and then when one comes along they are denied because of the lack of a fence. This person had things already on order for her dog and was planning puppy play dates with my dog. We walk every night when it cools down and my dog goes with me everywhere even to work. You could find out more from a better interview what kind of owner a person is going to be other than denying based on the lack of a fence. This dog I can guarantee would not be staked outside or left in the yard by themselves. As I said before there are other more important things like love, caring, and attention than a fenced -in yard. With so many dogs needing homes I think you need to explore other methods for determining ownership other than a fence.Yes, I am talking about the Great Dane. and the dog came up to Amanda and sniffed her hand and the people there said that was a first. Amanda is not new to Danes. Also it is very hard to escape when the dog is on a leash when it is out. Your being very near-sighted and the dog is missing a good home. She was in Ross County Humane Society before she came to you and Amanda would have had no problem getting the dog. You profess to be for placing dogs in good homes, then practice what you preach.

Leaving a 5 star review because I believe they deserve it! They work hard to keep these animals healthy and happy! They also help many people in need! I had a cat who I needed to surrender to them and they took him in with open arms! They cared for him and they helped him. Now he is off to a better family. They work so hard and you can see it in their posts and on their faces. It’s not easy taking care of animals with troubled pasts or an array of needs but they do it and they do it well! And with out complaint. Keep up the good work huyan don’t let these haters get you down!

They hosted the rascal unit and performed some much needed dental care on a senior dog I brought. Nice friendly and organized organization. Very satisfied
