Absolutely horrible customer service the manager needs to be fired. She is incompetent and does not know how to fill out the easiest of paperwork. And her phone etiquette is absolutely atrocious. When she makes a mistake she's acts like you did it. So watch out only use this bank as last resort.

I brought a cashier’s check from WPCU to deposit into my account and I was being treated straight off the bat like it was fraud. They put a hold of it and I understood the clerk, Erin, could not do anything further because it was a Saturday (November 5th).She let me know her branch manager, Amanda would reach out to me on Monday. Monday came around, no call. Tuesday, I made a call to Amanda. Straight away, again, I was being treated like I did something wrong; I told Amanda how I felt.Thursday, the 10th at the end of the day, before the holiday. Amanda calls me back and went into a big explanation on why they aren't taking off the hold and told me I have to contact WPCU.Called today, November 15th. Reached Kenzie, (which Amanda told me she went over everything with her) again, straight away I was treated like I was doing something wrong. These girls - Amanda, Erin and Kenzie are NOT professional. I know I came off rude, but, after a 12 day hold it was very frustrating.Called WPCU back again, spoke to a professionally toned rep who stayed on the line with me for 20 minutes as we called Kenzie and Amanda back to verify the check. It was verified.Every time I called WPCU, they were able to verify it. I am a business woman as well and there is a certain way to go about things and every way they went about this was not professional at all. I will be closing my accounts as soon as I am able and will not use or recommend Peoples Bank in Hillsboro.

Contacted them about being impacted from stay at home order and they are not offering help. I hope the governor sees places like this that are not willing to assist people during this crisis. They are going to sit back and wait on another bail out. Anyone that banks here should look for a bank that sees more than dollar signs when they look at you. Remember banks need us, they give us about 1% interest, then make loans on our money at 24% or more. Thanks a lot you are the most uncaring bank I ever dealt with and you do not want to help seniors. I am looking for a new bank that welcomes older customers.

Thank you to Amanda for providing excellent customer service today and fixing something that three other banks couldn't.
