Really awesome place! Been coming here for a long time. People come here to rock climb, but even if you don't rock climb, you can still climb around on the huge rocks! There are picnic areas and an outhouse that is usually pretty clean. Highly recommend!
Restrooms: No plumbing, just an outhouse.
Dog-friendliness: Can bring dogs, but bring doodoo bags and hold tight onto leash.

Whipps Ledges is probably the best hiking experience in the Cleveland Metroparks if you like more challenging terrain. The trails are not particularly long, but the sights are fantastic, and you can clamber over a wide variety of rock features or even go rock climbing if you have the gear.
You can spend as little as 15 minutes to do a loop or a few hours covering all the nooks and crannies in the area. Two picnic areas also provide a good place to eat and rest, and if you want a bit more to do, the rest of the Hinkley reservation is right there with more hiking, biking, and lake activities.
Restrooms: Present at both trail heads, top and bottom.
Dog-friendliness: It can be dog friendly, but the dog does likely need to be a bit agile to navigate some of the rougher terrain in the park.
Picnic area: Present at both trail heads, top and bottom.

Great place for an outing with friends and family. It is, however, very steep and hard to manuaver in places, so keep that in mind with who you bring

Very cool rocks. Steep getting up and getting back, but very worth the trek!

Whipps Ledges is one of several Ledges in the area. The trails are, for the most part, well marked and easy to follow. The colored striations in the rock formations are simply stunning.

Greatly enjoy going to the Ledges. They paths are difficult and not well marked, but worth it. Given my limitations and the fact I have a 4 yo in tow, we never make it all the way around the loop.

Fun hike. Don't go when it's wet and slippery with autumn leaves on the ground. Couldn't do the whole trail with young kids because it seemed a bit dangerous.
