I’ve used H and R block my entire adult life in Nebraska. When I moved to Toledo Ohio I figured it would be the same great service I was accustomed to, but they have messed up every year the last three years. Unfortunately the first year I was shorted 1000 dollars. The next year my spouse was shorted over 3000. So this year we were supposed to receive the 3000 from the year before that they didn’t file correctly but it’s nearing the end of the year and still haven’t received it. Unfortunately when we would call after filling no one seemed to know what was going on and gave really vague answers saying it’s been filed so on so forth. Then the offices just close for the season still nothing and it is not a cheap process to go thru. I went thru them because I had a sense of security going thru them kind of a you get what you pay for situation. Not so much anymore I don’t know if it’s just the Toledo area or if H and R block is going down hill in general. We still don’t know what to do. Oh and before I forget the emerald card the suggest data was hacked so some of our personal information was stolen, but hey at least they sent us a letter to apologize.

Horrible sloppy work. I am having to run around and fix their mistakes. Definitely will never use H&R Block ever again. The "tax pro" messed up my taxes, she had no answers for my questions after I filed. Terrible experience overall. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
