It comes down to whether u r ready to be sober or not!!!! Their approach is definitely different and not for everyone. Todd is a good guy but he is human. No one is perfect. They have a heart to help ppl and that is a under statement. The only thing that I can pick apart is the fact the support outside of the program lacks. The only after care for meetings is the Thursday live meeting. When I went thru I was not ready to stay clean. I made a choice and suffered the consequences. Todd's views are different from traditional 12 step programs. He doesn't believe it is a disease and that's fine but why is insurance billed for substance abuse? To each is it's own and I won't knock anyone who stays clean no matter how u do it!!

Absolutely enough can’t be said positive about Racing for Recovery! I arrived in September ‘22 & am still on my journey…. There are too many benefits to put into words! The trauma therapy is by far top notch none the less the daily life lessons in self discovery! And that’s just a piece of this program. Because of their guidance regarding health, wellness, & nutrition I’ve lost 72lbs in the past 13 months and am striving for more! I have my health and agility back!!!! I am forever grateful and plan on giving back what was freely given to me! I look forward towards continuing to have them be a big piece of my life. Love to ALL the staff there!?❤️?

I can not say enough about Racing ! I have a different outlook - I live in Arizona and have a daughter who was struggling with addiction for over a decade/ she had been in a couple of programs in Tucson where she had failed - unfortunately these programs made her feel imprisoned. We (her family) were frightened we would loose her completely to her addiction. My son - my daughter’s brother convinced us to get her on a one way plane to Toledo where he lived and he promised to get her help with Racing- long story short / We have our Mandy back !! She is such a beautiful woman and after being in the program for over a year has been brought back to us healthy (mind and soul) ! And She now has a beautiful family - and new baby boy !! She and her boyfriend have overcome so much and have so much to be thankful/proud and grateful for!!! Thank you Todd !!! All my prayers were answered because of what you have accomplished in Racing for Recovery ! I will forever be thankful to you and the mission that you have created !! God bless you !!!

This is by far the best facility in Ohio. Racing saved my life and showed me how to become the man I've always been meant to be. Without them I would've never been able to deal with all the issues/trauma I had. I would recommend that anyone struggling to go to racing for recovery!

My sister and her husband went through the program there and they completed turned their lives around. Now they both work for racing for recovery. And are doing good in life. Very happy to see how far they came. And where they go in the future. I’d recommend this place to anyone willing to put in the effort, it seems like a great place.

Racing for Recovery is the best program around. Unlike 12 Step programs...which by the way scorn anyone other than alcoholics....they help get to the root of your self-destructive behavior. This program saved my son's life and I am eternally grateful.

Not only is Racing for Recovery the best choice I've made for my continued sobriety but it's the best choice I've made for myself! The staff not only care about our future away from substances, they also care about our mental health and well being! Being given the tools to succeed and genuinely cared about here is the reason I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else!!

Truly unprecedented and revolutionary. Your recovery, your choice! Unless you want to work the 12 steps. Or attend sober support group meetings outside of this bubble. Or if you believe addiction is a disease. Or if you are not on a plant based diet. Or if you disagree with taking advantage of vulnerable clients, particularly women. Or associate with anyone else in the community not affiliated with this prestigious program. Or if you have any sort of backbone and stand on your own moral authority. Or if you speak up and disagree with any unethical practice you may witness. Or if you choose to step out and explore other avenues of recovery. Other than that, the choice is yours!

Racing for Recovery supports me in developing self-esteem and confidence with their encouragement to learn and implement a routine, create healthy connections, and establish self-awareness. Racing for Recovery to me means support of the community which is family to do the work and earn the life I am creating for myself. 18 months later I haven’t left, my role has changed in how I contribute to our community. I love my position and coworkers. Racing for Recovery is a lifestyle ❤️

My father attended this program and maintained sobriety. He continued on to get his college degree and works here now. When he first walked into R4R, I was with him. I had nothing but good things to say about this place, their staff and their methods. This was five years ago. And now it's improved even more. I just started my career with them, and I couldn't be happier. It's an incredible place to work, and an even better place to start your sober journey.

I couldn't not share a little of my experience with this establishment. It has been nothing but beneficial for my life. I've struggled with addiction and have been through other programs in the past which also has pushed me in the right direction but only to a degree. Racing for Recovery helps me to focus more on the fact that being an addict was a thing of my past. I don't have to be that today. Todd has really helped me focus on the individual I am and the great possibilities there are for my future. With the personal level I'm on with my case manager (Jeff),it's easy to get comfortable with opening up and helping me to find solutions for the issues at hand that I'm facing. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to get themselves back and better. Thank you
