“There are at least a few good teachers out there who are working hard to help their students. For those few, I am happy to donate school supplies to Crayons to Classrooms.”
“I'm volunteering for a project in my Anti-Oppressive Social Work class. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. They feed a lot of people. What a great service they are to the community.”
“Had a pedla break causeing me to wreck 8 miles from home. Luckily this shop was on the way back, and got me fixed up for cheap.
So I was able to get my bike functional and get home safely.
And their prices are cheap from a bike shop. Defiantly worth stopping by.
I will be back after I heal up.”
“This organization is absolutely AMAZING! The work they do with the kids in the Miami Valley is incredible. It’s run 100% by volunteers and their commitment is inspirational.”
“Fantastic selection of higher end clothing. They collect clothes, give clothing to people who are interviewing or beginning a new job. Items not useful for working like party dresses, resort wear, and men's and women's suits (an excess are donated) are sold in the bout. Your purchases benefit people looking for jobs.”
“I just picked up my baby Jellybean yesterday.
I spoke with Naomi from the offsite adoption department and she was absolutely great on the phone.
Very empathic and personable.
Very much recommend adopting from them”
“Went to a great quarter auction at the Amvets for Rescue Me animal rescue organization. This was a nice big place to have an event. The only drawback I see and the reason I did not give it 5 stars was there is only 1 ramp to get into the place and that is if you go through the bar (you know the drill, go in the back way to get to where you need to go) This is Amvets! Put in a couple of small ramps it would not be much and would be so much easier for those of us in a wheelchair. Well its been 3 yars and there is still no ramp in the front! Really, why is this so hard? It is harder going in the back way where there is a ramp because there is all kinds of furniture in the way. !! It really saddens me when AMVETS will not make it accessible for those of us in a wheelchair. We wonder why no one else does? ?”
“Went to this studio my entire childhood. Was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Would recommend it to anyone whose child has any interests whatsoever in being an artist, even for a day! Truly a magical place”

“Superb same-day service from super kind folks who came right to our office and hauled away 20+ boxes of books -- for free! They were professional, prepared, and even provided a handy receipt. I highly recommend donating your used books to this great cause. Can't wait to visit one of their book sales to find some gems! Wholly impressed...5 STARS!”
“We Care Arts is a true gem in the community! Over 40 years of serving individuals with developmental disabilities, substance abuse disorders and mental health diagnoses.”
“I really like the space. They are heading involved in the entrepreneurial community in Dayton, and provide access to resources, office and meeting space at reasonable prices. They also host great events like the annual Launch Dayton Startup Week.”
“Wow what service! I pulled up with a ton of clothes and Pax was right there waiting to help! It was getting ready to storm so was trying to get back home fast! I hope your boss sees your great work and gives you a raise! Thanks again!”
“I recently visited the Goodwill located at 6868 Miller Ln, Dayton, OH 45414, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As someone who typically prefers thrift stores over Goodwill, I approached this visit with low expectations, but I found a diverse selection of items that caught my eye. The store boasted an impressive array of clothing, including skirts, shorts, outerwear, and a variety of accessories like purses, scarves, hats, and jewelry. Additionally, I was delighted to see a range of household items, from mugs to stuffed animals, blankets and seasonal decorations.
One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness and organization of the store. It felt well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the positive atmosphere. However, I did find it slightly unprofessional to overhear staff discussing another team member openly; it created a bit of a distraction.
Checkout was a breeze, thanks to Miss Vivian, who was quick and efficient. I appreciated her mentioning it was senior day, although it was a bit awkward since I did not qualify for the discount. I was also surprised to learn about their return policy, which offers store credit within seven days of purchase, but no cash refunds.
Overall, while I didn't find a plethora of items that would compel me to return immediately, I would recommend this Goodwill location for its variety and cleanliness. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for unique finds.”
““I highly recommend The New Path Inc. for its outstanding dedication to serving the community. Its impactful programs and initiatives empower individuals to navigate challenges and pursue meaningful opportunities, making a profound difference in the lives of those it serves.””
“Came here over 24 years ago in search of help, and I would not be where I am today had they not given me the support I needed. If I ever get the opportunity to donate a lump sum of cash, this will be the first place I donate to. Thank you Elizabeth Newlife for your support. For coming to this teen moms rescue and making it possible for me and my babies to live a full life.”
“This agency and staff are phenomenal! The work on my house was awesome. My house is safer. They care. Their professionalism and kindness made me smile. I'm grateful, and I appreciate everything they did. Helping seniors remain in their home by completing the repairs show that they care.”
“We had the pleasure of visiting this post when we were in Dayton for the legion convention. We were greeted with hellos and warm welcoming. There was good music and great food. “The Glen at St. Joseph is a sacred place to me. As a graduate of the first class of moms to complete there program I must say that it was not only a blessing for me but my children as well. Every member of the team of wonderful people who work for the Glen are blessings, not wardens, not strict at all they met us where were in life and helped to build us into successful women. If you are willing to grow and are willing to work on yourself as well as your goals it is the perfect place to get that done. Every mom in my class has earned a degree and are living well. No sad cases but we all were willing to begin to do the work from the inside out to become who we are today! I am so proud of being a graduate of the Glen at St Joseph and I am confident that any GRADUATE/ Alumni would say the same! To try and blemish there name in any shape or form is just unacceptable!”

“Cannot recommend the Huber Heights YMCA enough!! Been a member for over 5 years and always have the best interactions with the staff/front desk employees. With the new additions to the facility, it has been a great place to take my family and workout or play basketball. It’s always clean and organized and the staff are always welcoming and friendly!!”
