Ryan is an excellent salesman and very friendly. The crew let me have a firearm on layaway for a decent amount of time and worked with me and my limited payments until I could afford to buy, highly suggested.

Rural king is great unless you need something from the firearm section stood there for 20 minutes finally just left for a gun shop

The employees at this location are not helpful at all. They also shut the gun counter down at 7:00 PM NOT 9:00 PM and refuse to make any sales close to that time.

Not necessarily anything the store employees did wrong but a critique to corporate. If you have the flags of the Armed Services, Candy bars raising money for the Gary Sinise Foundation and Patriotic "We proudly support our military!" decor blasted throughout the store. When I come to check out the cashier shouldn't be saying "I'm sorry, We don't honor military discount.." It makes the store look hypocritical

Over the years this location seems to have declined a little.. as there are a lot of empty shelves, selection is not as great as it used to be and the area where the pet food is kept is a bit chaotic. On a brighter note, I love the Gun Barn, I've never had a problem with getting help from employees if I needed it. The prices are really good.

Terrible customer service. I asked workers MULTIPLE times to help me buy chicks but we waited 20 minutes and nobody ended up coming. It was dirty and I do not recommend. The other Rural King locations are much better.Gun and amo prices are good though, as well as selection of chicks available, hence why I wanted to buy them. Nonetheless. Very frustrating visit !!

I always think of the Huber Heights Rural King as kind of a sketchy store. The staff isn't too professional, the shelves may not be well stocked, but if you hunt around a bit you'll find good stuff. They have everything from tools to t-shirts to hot sauces to live chicks and bunnies. We used to go to Rural King regularly to buy our dog's specially dog food. There's not much rhyme or reason to the stacks of dog food, every time we go they seem to be half empty, but from what we can tell they no longer carry it. The cashiers are... interesting. Sometimes they're friendly. Other times you get the impression you've interrupted them doing something more important. There's no consistency in terms of a greeting or anything, and they've never offered to help me with heavy items. Despite what I've shared here, it's not a bad place. I go in every other month or so looking for something.
