We have brought our cane Corso in twice and have been calling to inform them that our dog has not gotten any better. We have explained the problem she was having to the vet. We tried having her anal glands squeezed and they said it really wasn't that bad. We told them she was still having the same problems so they prescribed her antibiotics and told us to bring in a sample of urine. Well the antibiotics have not made the problem go away. She is now crying in pain Have explained this to them on two separate occasions. I will never take my dog back here. They shouldve found out what was wrong from day one if they didnt know then keep.her for observation overnight

Excellent Clinic! Everyone here obviously love animals. Very compassionate and patient with all animals! They take a considerate and gentle approach with handling and veterinary wellness needs.

I have to board my dog this weekend since I wasn't able to do it appropriately with the veterinary center of Hudson. They said they would give me a refund for the unnecessary appointment I made so that I could get my dog boarded there and get doggy daycare while the dog was there. However, I forgot that they also forced me to give them a $20 deposit a week prior to my appointment. So the unnecessary vet visit was actually $46 total. I was only refunded $26 total even though the vet said he would refund me since they couldn't do any of the things I asked and made the appointment for. my dog needed no veterinary interaction of any sort other than to be able to get into their boarding and doggy daycare. Despicable.

We had a horrible experience with Dr. Bestic for our Chihuahua, Madison. She was experiencing back pain and lameness in her left leg. I explained to Dr. Bestic that she had had knee surgery recently in both her hind legs. Dr. Bestic examined Madison and concluded her left leg lameness was being caused by the issue in her back. He recommended x-rays ($400) and when the x-rays showed nothing, further recommended we take Madison to a neurologist for an MRI ($4,000) at Med Vet in Akron. The MRI showed no reason Madison's back would be causing her left leg lameness so recommended I see an orthopedic surgeon. Upon examining Madison (she was fully awake), the specialist said he could tell by feeling her left leg that the artificial ligament in Madison's left leg had failed and needed to be replaced through another knee surgery ($5,000). Dr Bestic holds himself out to be an orthopedic specialist but in Madison's case, he cost Madison months of unnecessary pain and us $5,000 in unnecessary vet bills. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone.

I had a very sick cat, the vets in my direct area told me they weren't accepting new patients. I called Hudson Veterinarian Hospital and they immediately gave me an appointment that day. The Vet I had, Dr. Wendy, was so compassionate and explained all my options. Everyone was so caring and handled my pet with such love. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you Hudson Vet Hospital.

This place is wonderful when my one cat was sick they're the first ones to actually help her after taking to her to two different vets at first and they said she was fine. A friend of mine told me to come here and I'm glad she did. All the employees here are super friendly and helpful. I have made this my go to place when my animals are sick or need a checkup. I love all the vets and their attitudes they're super friendly and you can tell they actually care about your pets. If I could give them a higher rating I would

Excellent vet clinic!!! I have seen a couple vets and like both of them. Dr. Meivogel is my favorite. She has been so awesome through the process of trying to figure out how to handle my aging 13 year old lab/pit who is starting to go downhill. She's made a difficult process more bearable with her compassion and awesome "bedside manner"! We also have a pit bull puppy that was neutered here and it was a very simple process, without problems.

Our dog received very poor care from both the vet owner and the boarding facility. If you're wise you'll find another vet.

My dog has SARDS and needed an El-1 test. I took him to VCH to get the blood draw and send it off to the lab that I found. Three weeks after Id heard nothing so I called. I was told that nothing had been received from the lab probably due to Covid-19. Ok so I waited three more weeks. Still I heard nothing. I called again. This time I was assured that the Dr would follow up with the lab. At nine weeks I still heard nothing and when I called was still told that the results had not been received. By this time I decided to take matters into my own hands and called the lab. They assured me that the results had been sent and that even during Covid they were running only a week late. Within the hour, the lab forwarded my dogs lab results to both VCH and myself. I further emailed those results for a second time and called to be sure they were received and they had. A couple days later I got an email from the Dr stating that they had not yet received the lab results. Really? I emailed the results for a third time and was told that he would be back in touch with me. Ten more days passed. (Did I mention the test should be done every three months?). So I called again, this time to complain about the service id gotten or lack there of and to request my vet fees back. Ironically, the Dr was available. I was told that he had been trying to reach me. However, I checked my voicemail and all of my missed calls. None of them were from VCH. I did not get an email or snail mail either. I don’t believe that any effort was made to communicate with me. I also believe that the lab did their job. I feel like I did the job that the Dr should’ve done. And when I complained, they did not return any portion of my money. In the meantime, my dog also developed Cushings Disease. A high cortisol level is one of the indicators of Cushings. The El-1 test would’ve shown that. It wouldn’t have stopped him from getting it but it would’ve been treated a lot earlier. I will not return here with any animal I ever own because they just don’t care!... Read More

As a new pet owner we had lots of questions about health and development of our new puppy. Everyone at the veterinary center of Hudson is so kind and friendly. We have taken pomsky - Bemus here since she was 10 weeks old. Anytime we pull in she is so excited to be greeted by everyone. We just recently had her spayed and the care that was given was Above and beyond. We also use the daycare and it is a great way to tire out puppy energy. I would highly recommend Dr. Bestic and his amazing facility.

What a wonderful place! We had our two dogs pass away this month. The Vet Center of Hudson is fantastic, especially Dr. DeWitt. Both dogs were cremated at Paws Awhile and their remains are in engraved boxes on the fireplace mantel. The Vet Center of Hudson even had a bouquet of flowers are each cremation. Such thoughtful, caring people!

Beyond exceptional every time we come here for our cat. Ee receive the best care, the facility is spotless and welcoming, and the staff is excellent. They're so friendly while taking care of what we come for, recommend the best products and applied the medicine for me. They accommodated every need and were super flexible with scheduling appointments. Absolutely recommend.

If you want to be Nickle and Dimed to death then this is the place for you!! My dog has a recurring yeast problem in his ear. The vet has seen him many times for this and it's always the same treatment - ear cleaner. The first time I asked for a refill of the medication I was told it had been a year since he was last in so the vet needed to see him. Ok fine, so I brought him in in August. Now, it's October and I need another refill. Do you think they refilled it, NOPE. They need to see him again since it's been a couple of months. All this says to me is they want that $36/visit, just to literally approve the medication... which they've approved multiple times in the past!!! Nickle and Dime, Nickle and Dime.... Don't even get me started on the arbitrary $5 they charge every patient as a "Waste" fee... i.e. they throw something in the trash and charge you $5!!! What a joke! Why two stars, good question, I suppose the people are nice enough. Smile to your face while they pick your back pocket.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with the care of my fur-babies. The doctors, vet techs, receptionists are all family to us, they are awesome!!
